Projection Updates - Jan. 31
I did the first projection updates since the launch of the draft guide on Thursday. I'll be posting regular entries on who is up and down in the rankings, since it's not always obvious in the guide itself.
Catchers
Carlos Ruiz
Gregg Zaun - Down $1
Paul Lo Duca
Johnny Estrada - Down $1
Jesus Flores - Down $1
Rod Barajas
Curtis Thigpen
Sal Fasano
The slight adjustment given to Lo Duca after knee surgery and Estrada's arrival didn't affect his meager dollar ranking.
First Basemen/Designated Hitters
Ryan Howard - Down $1
Mike Jacobs - Down $1
Jorge Cantu
Shelley Duncan
Howard only lost one run scored and one RBI due to Pedro Feliz's arrival, but it was enough to drop him one dollar. He still has a modest advantage over Prince Fielder as the No. 2 second baseman. ... With Luis Gonzalez and Dallas McPherson arriving, I took 20 at-bats off Jacobs' projection. ... Cantu and Duncan remain $1 players despite losing a few at-bats each.
Second Basemen
Chase Utley
Jose Castillo
Utley received an adjustment similar to Howard's, though it didn't drop him a dollar. ... I took about 35 at-bats away from Castillo, who remains a $1 player.
Third Baseman
Pedro Feliz - Up $2
Greg Dobbs - Down $5
Morgan Ensberg - Down $1
Dallas McPherson
Wes Helms - Down $1
Feliz, who I had projected as if he'd play in a neutral park, picked up three homers with the move to Philly. ... Dobbs and Helms are now $0 player in 5x5 leagues, though I did put Dobbs at $1 in 4x4. ... McPherson remains a $1 player. I was already kind of guessing that he'd end up in Florida.
Shortstops and outfielders on Friday.

Hello, of course I came to visit your site and thanks for letting me know about it.
I just read this post and wanted to say it is full of number one resources. Some I am familiar with. For those who don’t know these other sites they are in for a treat as there is a lot to learn there.
