I have yet to finish the projection updates -- really hoping for a Bedard trade to be finalized before getting too far into it -- but I did take care of Santana's projection and move him to the top of the NL Top 250.

Also completed over the weekend was our new confidence scale. I gave each player a 1-5 rating based on how confident I am that he'll finish near his projection. Typically, consistent hitters got fours and fives, while young pitchers and those returning from injuries got ones and twos. I'm not sure how useful it will be, but it's something I wanted to try now and then look back at when the season is over.

Up next are the holds projections. We don't put them in the magazine, but since we often get requests, we will have them in the draft guide for a third year in a row.
