Top 10 Starting Pitchers
My apologies for the lack of entries lately. I'm deep into the draft guide this time of year and that's not going to change for another five or six weeks. I still intend to blog, but for the most part, they will be shorter entries.
I just finished my rough draft of the starting pitching projections and came up with the following top 10.
1. Johan Santana
2. Jake Peavy
3. Erik Bedard
4. Josh Beckett
5. Brandon Webb
6. Justin Verlander
7. C.C. Sabathia
8. Cole Hamels
9. Felix Hernandez
10. Carlos Zambrano
I suppose Hernandez is the biggest surprise there. I'm giving him a better projection than I did a year ago, before he was one of the bigger disappointments around.
Bedard comes in third, though he drops to eighth in 4x4 leagues. The only other big change with strikeouts out of the equation is that Fausto Carmona takes over at No. 10 and Zambrano drops a few spots.
Thoughts? Am I an idiot for not including John Lackey (just missed), Roy Halladay (high teens) or Roy Oswalt (No. 5 last year, No. 22 right now)?

Nice List!
In a couple of months you'll have to add Franchise Liriano to that.
