Marshall's move and other wideout changes

So far, we've looked at the rankings changes I made for our second magazine at quarterback, running back., and IDP positions. Now let's look at the receiver moves.
***
1. The lack of a suspension for Brandon Marshall moved him up nine spots to number 12. I have him atop his tier, above bounceback candidates Braylon Edwards and Chad Ochocinco. Buffalo starters Lee Evans and Terrell Owens are just below. If Marshall's hip looks recovered in camp, he'll move up a little more.
2. I flipped Santonio Holmes and Vincent Jackson. Both players are inconsistent week-to-week, but Jackson has a higher ceiling. Still not sure if Jackson's DUI could catch up with him.
3. Earl Bennett moved up,but he's still on the borderline of the top 200 overall. Not expecting great things.
4. Chris Henry moved up to the point where I'd keep a close eye on him in camp in deeper leagues. The talent is unquestioned and if he's finally got his personal life in order, well, he's worth a flier.
5. Greg Camarillo has recovered faster than expected. He moves up quite a bit, while Davone Bess moves down. Camarillo still has been taken too early for my tastes in my drafts. (Been in waaay too many, need to start writing about them more.) Bess often isn't taken. I still like him as a sleeper in PPR leagues.
6. Dwayne Jarrett's role is more defined, so he moved up. But he's still not draftworthy.
7. Dennis Northcutt's release helped the Jaguars rookies, but Mike Walker inched up even more. He's a great pick for depth this season. Torry Holt remains outside the top-35. His skills have eroded too much.
I have some other ideas for moves, but I'm trying to stay patient and see how the start of camp goes before over-tweaking.

Marshall is a beast. Top 3 talent, it's too bad he can't get his act together. He should still catch 100 balls this year in a contract season. Holmes and Jackson - this argument is a close one. Is Jackson's higher ceiling due to a focused ground attack in Pitt? We like Holmes more, but by the end of 2009 we will know for sure who the better fantasy player is between these two. The opportunity for Earl Bennett is there, can he take advantage? Cut ties if he can't show flashes of something/anything in 09' - no more excuses. Chris Henry is good, but not that good. Neither is Greg Camarillo. Make or break for Jarret in 2009. I say bust. Really like Mike Walker as a deep Dynasty sleeper.

Im glad Im not the only one NOT drinking the Earl Bennett Kool-Aid.
Everyone thinks that because Cutler is in the Windy City thats Bennet is going to pull in 100 catches and light up the score board every week.
Lets not for get that Bennett.... DID NOT MAKE ONE CATCH LAST YEAR. And it wasnt like they just couldnt get him in on gameday. He wasnt even active for 7 of their games. The only tme he got dirt on his cleats was on special teams.
Let someone else draft him. He'll end up on your waiver wire soon enough.

Marshall is a good #2 WR in any league based on his upside regardless of his contract issues. It will be difficult in any redraft league to get a better #2 than him. He can definitely put up #1 WR numbers but he is a risk.
So I think Rosenthal is correct in putting him at #11.

Outside of a triumphant return by Jim Kelly, there is no way that 2 WRs in Buffalo come close to being high-end fantasy WR2s. Evans is too inconsistent, Owens is too old, Edwards is too weak-armed and mediocre, the OL is too patchy, Jauron is too conservative, and the weather in Buffalo is too windy and snowy.
They're both WR3s at best.

I was looking at grabbing henry. Ochoc is a pain in the keyster so thing henry may get alot of looks. He also has talent 2.

Until Earl Bennett starts getting taken before than say round 14, I don't think you can say that people are "drinking the Kool-aid" on the guy.
Bennett is still undervalued because: A) he has an elite QB throwing to him (with college chemistry b/t them no less); B) everyone assumes Hester is the #1 WR, but what if he's not on gameday? Has Hester been a #1 WR even in high school? Junior High?
We really have no idea what CHI's offense is going to look like now that Cutler is on board. Where will the red-zone targets go to? Who is Cutler's go-to guy when he has to get a first down?
I don't know, but the answer could easily be Bennett.

I like Bennett to get 50/650/5, Hester with 55/700/6, and Olsen for 75/900/9. Olsen is the only elite receiving talent they have. Cutler is looking at a 3200/24/13 year. He will definitely miss having Marshall and Royal.
