Blockbuster non-PPR Dynasty Trade
I am in a 12-team non-PPR dynasty league with others in the industry. On March 30, I executed a trade with Fantasy Football Xtreme. The deal netted me Michael Turner, Larry Johnson, Lance Moore, and a first-round dynasty pick (later packaged to move up for Shonn Greene at 6th overall). I gave up Frank Gore, Brandon Marshall, Nate Washington, and a third-round dynasty pick.
Minutes ago, I received an offer from Fantasy Football Cafe of Steven Jackson, Antonio Gates, and Chad Ocho Cinco for Turner, Chris Cooley, and Mario Manningham. The proposing owner also wanted Michael Bush, but I balked at dealing Oakland's "third-string" tailback after holding onto him for multiple years in anticipation of big things.
Scott C. won't like this, but I accepted FFCafe's offer and hoped to get some feedback on the trade.
My roster currently stands at:
QB: Matt Cassel > Brett Favre > David Garrard
RB: Steven Jackson > Pierre Thomas > Derrick Ward > Larry Johnson > Shonn Greene > Michael Bush > Tim Hightower > Ricky Williams > LeRon McClain
WR: Larry Fitzgerald > Chad Ochocinco > Lance Moore > Torry Holt > Mike Walker > Miles Austin > Chris Henry > Devin Thomas
TE: Antonio Gates
K: Nate Kaeding
DEF: Bears
I am now contemplating making a move for Dwayne Bowe. Any ideas on a package?

If you acquired Bowe without dealing LJ you'd have the entire Chiefs offense with Cassel and Todd Haley at the helm.
Congrats, the last offense Haley coached lived in the redzone! Lets see if history will repeat itself.

Evan, Did you get the guys from FFxtreme loaded before that trade. Wow, to get Turner, LJ ( my comeback -player of the year),a very underrated Moore AND a 1st rd pick for Gore, a disgruntled Marshall and some belly button lint was a coup de tate.
Nice Job !!!!
Now on Bowe, I'd move McClain & Moore for Bowe straight up. You got the depth at RB to pull it off

I agree with joesix.
While it would be nice to add D-Bo, your team's biggest need is a top-notch QB.
I'd try to package Cassel with some another non-nucleus player or two and go after the owner that has two Top-10 QBs but could use help at RB or WR.

It wouldn't equal Bowe, but by the looks of the hijack he pulled off in his first deal, maybe another owner would be willing to accept that.

as much as i like Turner, that's a ridiculous improvement at WR and TE to "drop down" from Turner to S. Jax. once again, how do I get into a league with such numbskulls?!

i agree with all who say that you need a QB more than Bowe. i mentioned your QB need back when you made the first trade -- Cassel is NOT a QB1, and Favre? MAYBE one year left in him. There's a guy with Maddenesque love for Favre in every league - go find him and trade Favre to him. There's also some fool in every league who thinks Cassel is good - go find him and trade Cassel to him. Take the proceeds and get a real QB. I would much rather have Carson Palmer, who that ADP site suggests can be had cheaply, than Cassel or Favre in a keeper league. Or go get the Cutler owner bummed about his trade to Chicago.
