the more i look at these rankings the more questions i get regarding them.
these rankings look rushed. suprizing for rotoworld

as usual, wess these are good rankings, but i mention only our disagreements.
p.s. tier 1 was my starting lineup in a re-draft league last year....
Welker is a PPR machine, but not so much in non-PPR, so I'm guessing these rankings are PPR. Wess?
i have a serious disagreement with how high the Buffalo WRs are. pop in the tape from last year's Buffalo-Cleveland game and then tell me how heavily you want to invest in Trent Edwards' WRs. TO is going to long for Dallas by October. The guy with TO in one of my dynasty leagues can't get a draft pick for him equal to any of the top 3 rookie WRs, which gives you an idea of what TO's value should be. And Evans is like fantasy cotton candy. Looks good, tastes good for a moment, but then disappears.
I like Vincent Jackson but would take any of the non-Buffalo guys in his tier ahead of him.
Antonio Bryant is high. I mean that literally -- he's puffing right now. His ranking is also too high.
I can only conclude from this ranking that Wess is trying to trade for Josh Morgan as we speak.
Mike Vick to Heyward-Bey...TD! lol

scott - they definitely aren't rushed. you have 10 people do rankings, you'll get 10 different thought processes.
Wess likes rookie wrs way more than me because he's always shooting for true number ones and values getting them that way. That's part of what makes dynasty fun - a lot of different "systems."

People are pointing out that the rookies are rated high and that they will take time to develop. The problem though is that if they do develop then you are not going to be able to get them without giving up a fortune. You need to value potential in a dynasty league, even if it is years away from being able to help your team. This is inherent in a dynasty league in that you want to compete now but also need to prep yourself and your bench to compete later (someone made this point in the dynasty RB thread also). I for one would rather have a players with a lot of potential even if they have relatively high bust potential than a mediocre player that really isn't good enough to be fielded in a fantasy roster (Randle El comes to mind).
Bottom line is you have to buy these guys before they have proved themselves or you will end up making a Ricky Williams/Ditka like trade. You will have some studs (like Calvin Johnson) and some duds (like Chad Jackson) but you can cut the busts (though I roster WRs for a longer cycle than other positions) and then take another prospect on.

If after a year you feel like you've got a bust on your hands, trade him while there's still 'potential'.
Devin Thomas maybe?

Scott C.- these rankings are kept perpetually all year long, so they were not thrown together for this post. I should know- I check them every month to see if I have moved past Matt Schaub who hasn't finished a season when I haven't missed a game. C-Wess hates me.

Where's Davonee Bess? I know he's not Wes Welker but he proved he could play in the nfl. In the few starts he had he out produced Ginn. He's had a history of being overlooked, but i'd take him over anyone in tier eight.
