i agree with Kirby RE: Barrian

i agree Barron, Harvin is completly overrated here, almost unjustly so given his red flags and the offense. I guess wess must think they will force the offense to make him get 20 touches a game. i cant see how that is possible unless hes in the wildcat. anyother senario just doesnt equal his ranking here. that ranking equals him outgaining a quality receiver who could put up 80,1200,6 this year and over the next two years. thats pretty ambitious

I think that these rankings are pretty solid. If I was going to change anything, I'd put Crabtree and Harvin down in tier 5 with Nicks and Maclin.

Josh Morgan should be at least one tier higher. I'd also give a little more love to guys like Mike Walker and Earl Bennett, who could end up as starters this year and for years to come. That's got to make them more valuable than guys like Justin Gage and Mark Clayton who have been starters but haven't shown much, and guys like Donald Driver and Derrick Mason who's production is declining and don't have many years left.

I'm hazy about the value scores. Based on the numbers should I believe that all of the WRs in Tier 3 are more valuable than all the RBS in Tier 3. And a Braylon Edwards should be considered more valuable than a Westbrook, Barber, Lynch etc.?

Marshall is to low. I know he has a potiential suspension looming. But it's likely to be 3 games or less at this point or Goodell would have likely given it to him before the draft. He is way to productive to not be in the 2nd teir.

Harvin is waaaay to high. I know he is talented, but he not a prototypical WR so his ceiling is not as high as people think. Not to mention his personal issues.

Also, given how overvalued the rookies are here, I'm a bit surprised to see how low some of the WR's from last seasons draft are ranked. Does "talent" diminish so quickly?

The value scores are not intended to translate across positions, for those who have posed the question.

its kind of suprizing to see rookies like k.britt, nicks over somewhat established younger guys like morgan, l.moore, breaston, avery, and berrian. how is their value so low compared to rooks in a position with great bust potential. i can understand if for RB's, but not so sure about this here. no matter what u say about the talent of this draft class, its gonna take a few years for these guys to fully develope/produce. are their talents that superior to these guys? i question that. i just dont see how the production equates for the long/short run.

i see most, if not all of these rookies values taking a hit. its right after the draft, confidences is high on them, but wait until they enter the league. their values will take a hit. maybe this would be a good time to trade them for these established young guys in ur league, if they all think like wess here.

even the most recent "best" rookies of years past took a couple years to produce consistantly: Calvin, Fitz, White, Marshall, Edwards, etc., why would this draft class be any different?
