Dynasty Rankings: Quarterbacks

Seriously Bulger that low?

He should be at least teir 4-5

Look at his past, with good protection (and all signs point to good protection this year) he is stellar.

Talk about underrated QB...

I guess ranting about something I feel passionatley about wont matter here lol.

We will all just have to wait and see and all obviously be surprised.

you guys must be in "dynasty" leagues with some pretty quick turnover.

how can brees not be the clear #1 by himself? he's only been the second coming of marino for a few years in a row now.

matt ryan #4 after one year on a run-oriented offense with no WR2? yes, gonzo is a nice addition, but that's a lot of faith you're showing in ryan there. rivers and cutler aren't safer bets?

kurt warner has two years left TOPS. again, we must use the term "dynasty" differently. unless you have everything but a QB and looking to just plug him in for this year and try to win now, warner is too high. CP is a way better choice long term. does no one remember warner at NYG or near the end with the Rams? no, everyone only remembers last year.

garrard is too high. it's one thing to grab warner and try to win this year and let the future be damned. garrard doesn't even get you a win this year. better off gambling on the rookies. orton will have garrard stats and has a higher ceiling.

how can brady quinn not be higher? i thought he was bad last year, but there is a decent ceiling there and much potential.

hasselbeck is too high. again, orton will get the same numbers with a chance at a better future. how can hasselbeck be 21 and delhomme 32? they're the same guy, except delhomme has better weapons around him.

cassel is too high. such a system guy.

don't give up on Campbell yet. i'm not a fan, but his value is getting so beaten down among sites like this that he will soon be in undervalued territory. if devin thomas or malcolm kelly actually develops, campbell might be functional.

I find it interesting on a dynasty rankings that the top three are all over 30 years old.

Rams,
I admire your loyalty, but Bulger is almost value-less in Dynasty leagues. Try shopping him around and see what kind of interest you get from the other owners in your league.

He has several problems right now:

1. He's been awful for 2 years ... and has developed bad habits such as shuffling feet at the faintest sign of pressure.
2. His receiving crew is bottom of the barrel.
3. He has very little job security.
4. The only reason he's still starting for the Rams is because of his contract.
5. Between his age and recent production, Bulger has zero future value ... so he has to produce this year. What kind of fantasy owner is going to start Bulger on a regular basis this year?

matt ryan ahead of studs like aaron rodgers, phillip rivers, and jay culter!? thats just plain stupid. just because matt ryan had one DECENT fantasy year does not elevate him to the level of those other young elite qbs

finally!.. drew brees made it up the list

I agree that Warner is much too high for a dynasty rankings. He won't be playing long enough to be a dynasty must-have, which also makes me wonder why Matt Leinart is so low. Sure he didn't do much when he was given the opportunity, but he's going to be the starter there eventually. Especially if Warner goes down with an injury.
Also, how can Delhomme be ranked lower than Freeman, White, and Vick? At least Delhomme is the guaranteed starter. That's got to count for something. Why else would JaMarcus Russell be ranked so high? Being young and a starter (for now) is about all he has going for him.
