In-Progress Dynasty League Draft
I am currently involved in a 12-team dynasty league draft. After executing a trade that brought me another first-round pick, I am armed with two picks in the top 12. My selection is one away. Here is who's gone so far: This is a non-PPR league.
1.01 Sports Grumblings - Moreno, Knowshon
1.02 FantasyFootballStarters.com - Wells, Chris
1.03 FantasyTailgate.com - Brown, Donald
1.04 TheFootballExpert.com - Crabtree, Michael
1.05 FantasyFootballCafe.com - Nicks, Hakeem
1.06 FantasyFootballWhiz.com - Greene, Shonn
1.07 Rotoworld (Drew Silva) - Britt, Kenny
1.08 Footballguys_Smith - On the clock
1.09 Rotoworld.com (Evan)
1.10 FantasySharks.com
1.11 Rotoworld.com (Evan)
1.12 FFToolbox
I currently have my two first-round picks on the table for Shonn Greene. FFWhiz indicated that he wants to see who Footballguys_Smith drafts before deciding whether to pull the trigger. Remember, non-PPR.
Say FFWhiz doesn't make the trade. Who would you target? See my current roster in the last post about this dynasty league.
Also, do you think my proposal was worth it? I know many readers here are in dynasty leagues and wanted any opinions. You guys helped a ton in the last Michael Turner/Frank Gore discussion.

Percy Harvin?

Harvin is definitely a good suggestion. I do worry that he is going to a run-first team and may only be a slot receiver, especially if his drafting lights a fire under Sidney Rice. I believe in Rice's talent. Harvin is not in a situation like Wes Welker or even Eddie Royal where he's a clear-cut No. 2 slot type in a pass-first attack. Still, Harvin is on the radar.

This may sound crazy, but I like Andre Brown as a dynasty league pick. Taking into account Jacobs' age, contract status and injury concerns (combined with the Giants' O-line and style of offense), you have a potential beast in a swing-for-the-fences draft spot.

BTW, I wouldn't do the 2 for 1, myself. Although I like Greene (and have him slotted as my pick in a similar position), I'm concerned about him becoming a Ron Dayne type. I'd rather take 2 educated fliers and trust my instincts that at least one pans out.

Wow. Knowshon over Wells in non-ppr, hmm.
WOW. Donald Brown 3rd over Crabtree... thats gonna come back to haunt that guy.
Has Silva got into this leagues ear about Nicks too?? Way high here. Green, Britt, Inglasias, Robiskie, all better picks imo.
Its gonna be interesting if Silva is gonna go exclusively WR with his two picks, or splice in the QBs and Pettigrew.
Amazing to see the flux of Hightowers value from the draft last year to now. Crazy. Obviously its at its lowest.

I absolutely agree with trading both firsts to try and get someone you really want, quality over quantity though when I do this sort of thing I try to get a later draft pick, like a third rounder or so, coming back my way so I can take a gamble on a guy to develop, like Brandon Tate for example.
If you stay then my process would probably to first take Percy Harvin and then probably LeSean McCoy.
Your other option is to try and get someone like McFadden for both of your firsts or to try and trade out and get into next year's first rounder from a weaker team. Trade your two firsts for their first next year and their second this year or something like that if you don't like what is available to you here.

i wouldnt pull that trade here either Evan. I like what u could get out of these next two picks, especially if one is Macklin. in my last post i didnt even realize he was still available. take him, and add robiskie, inglasias, or pettigrew.
sorry but after that last trade im not such a big fan of ur roster. not to be mean. i think u would be better with added depth at WR.
