Skinny Posts: Two days till Tampa

I'm gearing up to leave for Tampa Sunday, using today for some last minute prep for work down there. Plus we're getting the baseball draft guide ready for a Monday launch. Starting Sunday, I'll be blogging non-stop from Tampa.
"I wasn't mad because he dropped the ball. That kind of mistake can happen to anyone. I was pissed that he'd lay on the ground, fake an injury and cost us our last timeout. My point was, Be a man! Grow up!"
After all, what's he's going to say about his mentor Brady? That he wants to take his job? In Cassel's heart of hearts, he surely wants to remain the starter for the Patriots, but he can't say it publicly. He also must want to start somewhere, but knows he may have to wait a year to have his own team. If you were setting odds on the Patriots' Week 1 starter right now, it would be Cassel. And he would get $14 million guaranteed for one season, play in the perfect offense for him, then try to get paid even more the following year. Cassel has made less $2 million in his career.

i have a feeling that cassell will replace brady. likely this year. that knee is too big for brady to overcome. serious concerns there.
