While T.O. could get cut, and it would make sense on some levels, there still isn't a lot of proof behind it. Stephen Jones is reportedly is in the camp of people who think it would be good to cut him for team chemistry. It sounds like offensive coordinator Jason Garrett doesn't want him around. Matt Mosley thinks Owens is "probably" gone, which is surprising.
Cutting Owens, however, will actually cost Dallas a bit of money against the cap. his roster bonus isn't due until June, so there isn't much Getting rid of aging high priced talent for chemistry reasons makes sense to me, but it goes against everything we know about Jerry Jones. It still sounds like a longshot.

Brandon Jones, once a favorite in these parts, played just well enough to get another chance to start in Tennessee. He led the wideouts in catches and has to be favored over Justin McCareins after the latter's embarrasing performance against the Ravens. Bo Scaife should also be back.
Assistant GM Jason Whitlock manages to compare Herm Edwards to Barack Obama and Bill Belichick to Jack Bauer in his latest Scott Pioli column. JoePos is glad Pioli didn't say much.
Pioli says he'll talk with Herm Edwards at length before deciding on his future. It would still be a shock if Edwards stays.
The Browns have their coordinators. It will be fun to see Rob Ryan get to coach without Al Davis' contstraints. Brad Seely's departure from New England to Cleveland adds more fuel to the Belichick/Mangini fire.
Mo-Jo should get a contract extension in Jacksonville. Good idea before he posts monster numbers next year. You know I'm high on his fantasy value next year. Jerry Porter should be one-and-done in Jacksonville. New England has shown some interest in Porter in the past. I wonder if they will make a one-year play for him now, ala Donte' Stallworth, since his price will be bargain basement.
It feels like I've been waiting for Maurice Jones-Drew to post "monster numbers" for five years now (and he's only been in the league for three). I'd have a hard time coming up with someone more consistently overrated on draft day.
i dont care what u say, im buying on MJD this year. let those other people think he'll never reach his potential. no real argument to make here.
t.o. gettin cut is, to quote LT2 "ridiculous". how does that make any sense at all to release one of the better wide outs when they clearly have no alternative.
brandon jones does deserve another shot, but he'll likely under perform again. he does have talent though, much like mark bradley.
i concur, that fox dancing robot is the worst. when will it go away.
