The Fitzpatrick factor

I'm getting a lot of emails that ask about trade offers for Chad Ocho Cinco and Andre Johnson. A.J. is one of the slow starters that I'm absolutely confident will bounce back. I was preaching patience before with Ocho, but he's toxic now. Unless you are in a 0-4 hole or have an ugly roster in need of a gamble, I can't imagine taking the plunge on Johnson. And it's all about Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Despite some optimistic quotes, I get bad vibes coming out of Cincy regarding Carson Palmer's elbow. Maybe I'm wrong, and Palmer will return this week looking good as new. But he's not even throwing in practice yet, and any long-term injury sinks Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh, not to mention Chris Perry. I like calculated risks, but not this one.

Would I be nuts to sit Clinton Portis (v.Eagles) this week in favor of the match up of Steve Slaton against the Indy run D?

Not crazy at all. Go with your gut.

If Palmer is out long-term, exactly how worthless is Ocho Cinco? Should he be released? I have Burress, Ward,Royal, and V. Jackson in a league which uses 3 WR. Right now, I have O.C. behind them all and would love to use the roster spot O.C. is using. What do you think?

Can't decide who to sit this week...Addai, Gore, Forte in a PPR league.

Nobody cares about your sit/start dilemmas, do some research (if you know how to read), grow a pair and make your own call. Douche.

Sit Forte Greg,
Barry should hold on to Ocho as it's only week 4. Just benchem till he turns it around. Personally I hate the dude but he's established and his talent hasn't disappeared overnight. Even then, if ur so eager to get rid of him, trade him.

Greg - DO NOT sit Forte, - sit Addai. Barry do not get rid of Chad - too talented to just cut - updates today say Palmer is saynig he will play - but even then - wait and hold on. I can't imagine that roster spot your talking about is more valuable than him.
