Roy Williams can stiff delivery men in Dallas now

Our blurb on the Roy Williams deal is listed below. I'd write more here, but I need to get the Season Pass rankings up. Basically, this move adds another pair of hands to an overcrowded Dallas receiver group. Romo, Brad Johnson, and Calvin Johnson are winners. Megatron has less competition for targets. The Dallas Quarterbacks have more weapons.
Williams' value probably doesn't move. He gets a better quarterback in a month, but now may be the fourth option in his offense. That tradeoff is a wash. Dallas is asking for a T.Opisode in the next few years. It's hard to see him co-existing well with a similar receiver. Jerry Jones also just handed Williams' agent a ton of leverage because he'd look silly if Williams doesn't re-sign with the team now. Williams' contract expires at the end of the year.
The rest of the impact is after the jump. Let me know if you agree with my take.
NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that the Cowboys have acquired Roy Williams from the Lions for a first, third, and sixth-round draft pick.
Because the one thing they are missing is a diva wide receiver with an expiring contract. That is a huge bounty for Detroit, especially when no one else wanted Williams. The move smacks of desperation on the heels of an ugly weekend in Dallas, but Williams helps Brad Johnson's chances for short-term success. Still, there are only so many targets to go around. Williams is going to be the fourth option (behind Owens, Witten, and Barber) in a loaded offense and will remain inconsistent. His fantasy stock does goes up for the stretch run once Tony Romo returns. Patrick Crayton takes the biggest hit on the team, but T.O. and Jason Witten will also lose some targets.

Comments
Maybe there's a T.O divorce brewing. A few minor tremors lately, maybe a 2.7 on the Jerry Jones scale. Stronger shock waves to follow? Trouble brewing in the corral? Dallas can always trade T.O., pick up whatever and still have a significant deep threat to appease fumblin' Tony.

Where this really hurts is that Williams will now have a second bye week. Detroit already had a bye, and Dallas has a bye yet to come. So his owners now have to worry about him missing another week. Sure, a lot of players miss a week due to injury, and the extra bye may actually help to keep him fresh. But nobody plans on a player having 2 bye weeks. Williams only gets 15 games, not 16, no matter how healthy he is.

Looking for some unrealized benifactors of this deal...does McDonalds valve or Furreys increase enough to warrent a pick up in deep leaques.

Who steps in to replace Roy in Detroit? Wouldn't that receiver also be an upgrade? Is it McDonald?

1. Williams signed a five year deal
2. Cowboys have stock piles of picks in this years draft
3. TO will be free from double teams. Crayton and Austin are not the threat Roy is
