Ridiculously early and irregular Fantasy MVP Watch

These rankings are based on who has been the most valuable asset for fantasy owners this season, with extra points given to players who have given bang for the draft slot buck. And, uh, they are totally subjective and meaningless so I'll save you the trouble of telling me the same.

1. Reggie Bush: Because of his punt return scores, Bush is contending for top honors in non-PPR leagues. In PPR leagues, he's been an awesome value.

2. Jay Cutler: The Bucs game hurts his average, but he's carried teams as a mid-round pick.

3. Michael Turner: Inconsistency hurts, but he's won some weeks by himself.

4. Frank Gore: Steady she goes.

5. Clinton Portis: Volume runner in a sea of RBBCs

6. Matt Forte: See Clinton Portis, add draft value.

7. Drew Brees: With other top quarterbacks falling by the wayside, Brees has been worth more.

8. Greg Jennings: Most consistent wideout at a nice price.

9. Jason Witten: Crushing the other tight ends, which makes him worth more.

10. Brandon Marshall: He'd be my top wideout moving forward, but can't ignore his one missed game and one stinkbomb in this race. He'll move up.

Honorable Mention Aaron Rodgers, Kurt Warner, Marion Barber, Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin

It seems as though Romo is not getting any love for the top 10, he'll be more consistent than Cutler throughout the year especially if If the Boys' grab Roy Williams.

I'm with you on Brown - but for this very specific list: he's been HUGE two games, and done nothing the other two. maybe that is worth an honorable mention and I suspect he'll make the list when I update it in a few weeks.

Steve Slaton anyone????

By far rookie of the year..thus far in the season hes had 17, 18 and 21 respectively in the last three weeks in my league!

how in world can anyone say roddie white is a wr2/3, thats about as bad as saying forte is a rb2. wake up people! i know its hard to get out of your steadfast yearly pre-draft ranking both are wr1 and rb1. same for eddie royal until proved otherwise. these were the same people who stubbornly wouldnt get on the brandon marshall bandwagon last year. get over urselves.

slaton... come on. hes been good as of late (last 3 games) but forte has been the best and most consistant rookie, or royal in PPR, this year.

I drafted Bush, Cutler, Turner, Gore, Portis, Brees, Forte, Witten, Jennings and Marshall. Also, I traded Colston and Brady for Slaton, Romo, Rivers, and Turner. My girlfriend is really good-looking as well. Thanks for reading - hope this added some value to the discussion.

Brian Westbrook should at least be an honorable mention here. hes missed a couple games, but the games hes played in, hes been awesome. Westbrook has more pts in 3 games played than most everyone else does in 5.
