Jackson receiving kudos

Steven Jackson owners probably don't know how to disappointed to feel with their top back. On one hand, he has a lone touchdown in five weeks. And the Rams' latest win was hardly an offensive revival; they barely had 200 total yards and didn't score an offensive touchdown.
On the other hand, Jackson is keeping his value alive with a crazy amount of receptions. Jackson is on pace to catch 74 passes for 778 yards on the year. He's still in the top eight point scorers per game in PPR leagues. The Rams' lack of wideout production and poor protection has helped Jackson become Reggie Bush lite. Or Reggie Bush heavy. You know what I mean.
Jackson's 10.4 yards-per-reception shows he can still make plays. (He has more receiving yards than Torry Holt). And his huge catch total saves him from a prolonged slump. The touchdowns should come, even if they don't come in bunches. If the Steven Jackson owner in your league is one of the disappointed ones, send him a trade offer.

I am very very happy with my first 2 picks, I had the 12th pick, I selected Frank Gore and Reggie Bush in a PPR league.

Hey Anon,
I offered a trade of his S-Jax for my Forte. Don't know if that will go down, but I'm will to gamble with Jackson's bum groin/offense over Forte's rookie wall.

Hey Breaston,
He sweetened the pot with Boldin, so SJax/Boldin for Forte/Bowe.
I think I have to accept. Rollin the dice.

I forgot about Gore. Yeah, so Gore and Portis owners are about the only ones truly happy with their 1st round pick. Amazingly, Gore went in the high 2nd round in one of my leagues (I took S-Jax) and Portis went in the 2nd round of another league (where somebody autodrafted LJ 8th).

do you think i should trade away Steven Jackson for Thomas Jones & Deuce McAllister in a PPR?

Knownothings - you're kidding, right?
Okay, assuming you're not kidding - SJAX will end up with more receptions than TJ and Deuce combined. Jones is not traditionally a pass-catching back. His recent 3-TD game is a spike in his production - don't look for similar games on a weekly basis. Stick with SJAX.
