Colston better bet than Shockey

Marques Colston appears to be on track to return from his thumb surgery a week early. Jeremy Shockey owners probably have to carry another tight end for an extra week. Shockey missed practice Thursday, and didn't sound optimistic about returning against the Raiders.
"I really don't have (a targeted return date)," Shockey said. "God willing, I wish I could play last week. I hope I can play this week."
Sean Payton appears to be targeting next week against Carolina. With Colston back, Lance Moore should step into the number two receiver role, with Devery Henderson and Robert Meachem splitting snaps out wide. Both average over 30 yards--per-catch, but I think Henderson could lose snaps after mental mistakes Monday night. Shockey's absence this week keeps Moore as a solid WR3 against Oakland because he runs many of the same routes.
Update: Of course PFT posted a story saying Colston will play minutes after I wrote this up. Colston will get plenty of snaps even if he only plays in 3/4 wideout sets. The Saints play at least three wide on two-thirds of their snaps.

Are you guys playing Colston in this, his first week back? Sounds like a no brainer but I am pretty deep at WR, its between him and Holt as my WR3.
Limited snaps and a little rust gives me thr slightest hesitation. What are you guys doing with him this weekend?

Yep, I have him on the bench for one week to see. I'm starting Berrian instead this week against the Lions.

Just saw the updated rankings have Colston at 11! I'm usually slower to come around, i.e. show me your healthy before I play you, but I am seriously having trouble keeping him on my bench, especially after the update.
In the forums there was a sit/start question posted with Edwards vs. Colston and probably 8/10 sided with MQ?

Hmm...what the hell...there's enough Drew Brees for all, i mean, it's almost sure he'll get around 10 pts in PPR league...so, WTF i'll start him...

Would you guys start him in a non-ppr league? I have both Desean Jackson and Jerricho Cotchery as well.
1pt/10yds
6pt/TD
3pt/100+yds (bonus)
