Waiver Pickups

The column is out. And now so are the waiver picks. Chris Wesseling's got his full writeups tomorrow. As always, these lists can't cover everyone, but I try to only include players available in a majority of leagues. I'm sure you'll let me know who I forgot.
Running Backs
1. Pierre Thomas
2. Darren Sproles: Number one if you own LT2.
3. Fred Jackson
4. Ahmad Bradshaw
5. Michael Bush
6. Brandon Jackson
7. LaMont Jordan
Quarterbacks
1. J.T. O’Sullivan
2. Trent Edwards
3. Brian Griese
4. Kerry Collins
Wideouts
1. Bryant Johnson
2. Isaac Bruce
3. Matt Jones (still)
4. Antonio Bryant: I know I’ll take crap for this, but it’s a long season and Galloway is hurt. Griese was a disappointment though. Just like the picks we got right so far, getting it right or wrong for two weeks doesn’t win titles.
5. Justin Gage
6. James Jones
7. Derek Hagan
8. Brandon Lloyd
Tight Ends
1. John Carlson: There’s no one left to catch passes.
2. Randy McMichael
This Week’s Defense
1. Buffalo (vs. Raiders)

Gregg - where would you rank James Jones (Green Bay) on your WR list?

Gregg - should I pick any of these waivers for Larry Johnson? I had him last year and I know what is to come....

Gregg,
The only question I have is exactly when did you guys move Darren Sproles ahead of Jacob Hester on your lists? We drafted in week 3 in the preseason and I took Hester just before Sproles went (I went with your rankings, despite my instinct). We are in a deep league. The happy combination of LT, Colston, and Donte'Stallworth would be a lot easier to swallow if I had Sproles right now. I expect LT out for the next 2 weeks. He was very slow and ineffective yesterday. Don't be afraid so say he is a bust this early. My 0-2 team is pretty busted with 2 single digit losses.
Phoney Maroney

sproles went ahead of hester right before week one, when they considered him at FB. but roto mentioned there would be no clear favorite to handcuff. sproles is way ahead now.
btw.. i would have put camarillo above hagan at this point. he gets the targets
sry, but bryant will be cut shortly. he cant even emerge past stupid hilliard. pathetic

DeSean Jackson is a disgrace to football.

Is John Carlson worth giving up #1 waiver priority for? My only other TE is Owen Daniels. Will Carlson still get the ball if/when Engram and Branch come back?
