Ravens vs. Steelers, 'Skins vs. Cowboys

Between the column and the videos, every matchup is covered except two. Those two are below. I'll update the rankings in a while and then start pregaming for the debate.

Ravens @ Steelers

Baltimore is the most impressive defense in the NFL thus far. That could mean a long night for all Steelers. Since Rashard Mendenhall has failed to impress in practice, I'm not high on him proving RB2 value against Baltimore. Mewelde Moore will probably be very involved. ... Ben Roethlisberger is going to see a lot of blitzes and could get killed here. That will make it hard for Santonio Holmes to have time to get open deep.

Joe Flacco has impressed me, despite the numbers. Good pocket presence, great arm, and makes mostly good decisions. It's early, but I think he'll be a good pro. That doesn't mean you want to get anywhere near the Baltimore passing game this week. ... Willis McGahee's eye has been an issue, but he's probable for Monday. McClain is taking all the goal-line snaps, but McGahee dominated the workload with 17 carries to five for McLain before the injury. McGahee played fairly well. That got lost in the shuffle. It was not really a three man committee before the injury.

Redskins @ Cowboys

If you give up on Patrick Crayton now as a WR3, he'll probably burn you with a big game. It looks like the inconsistency from last season will continue. Felix Jones remains a decent flex option, but the lack of touches makes him very risky. .. This will be a true test of how far Jim Zorn's West Coast offense has progressed. I wouldn't consider any wideout other than Santana Moss.

Gregg I have been a Season Pass owner for the past 2-3 years now and a faithful reader of Rotoworld. It is by far the best site I have come across. With all of that said, when I read Pancake Blocks it totally confuses me against your rankings. Prime example...you have Santonio Holmes ranked higher than Eddie Royal, but yet you say it will difficult for Holmes to get open and stick with Royal this game. So which one is it? Are your rankings based on potential? Every week Holmes is a start in my Oracle Report and every week he sucks and I sat Cotchery. So can you give us more insight on your rankings. I realize these are your opinions I'm just trying to understand them. All in all, I think you and the whole Rotoworld site is pretty damn good! See you on Fantasy Fix tomorrow morning. Thanks!

Amen!
