Preseason injuries fade away

We spend August fretting about missed practices and sore hamstrings, wondering if our guys will be ready when the real games start. And they usually are.
Among the players who practiced fully Wednesday that had raised eyebrows in the preseason with missed time: Tom Brady, Wes Welker, Antonio Gates, Peyton Manning, Decue McAllister, Ahman Green, Jerry Porter, and D.J. Hackett.
Some players to continue to watch: Willis McGahee, Todd Heap, Ryan Grant, Ben Watson, Reggie Brown, Jamal Lewis, Javon Walker.
Does this post have a point? Not really, but I wanted to get myself up-to-date on injuries heading into Week 1 and thought you might want to do the same. Incidentally, it's worth noting that Reggie Brown isn't a lock to start even if he plays. DeSean Jackson, on the other hand, will be on the field on the first snap.

So what's realistic to expect of DeSean? I'm going against a guy who has McNabb and I'm thinking of hedging by starting him over Forte, Morris or Berrian in the flex. We get points for return yards as well.

Long term backup -- D. Jackson or Reggie Brown...both are available.

Dr Cheese - Forte is the safest bet of the group, but the return yardage points makes Jackson an interesting play. More boom or bust for sure, but I'd probably roll the dice on Jackson factoring in the return yards and McNabb.
Long term backup - I'd take DeSean.

I believe jackson can have stallworth type season. That is of course if he knows the plays which it looks like he does. Mcgahee, porter, walker, mcalister, and reggie brown. Why are people even having a thought of counting on these guys. Maybe mcgahee but the ravens want to get younger not older I see rice getting a big chunk of had offs this season. They rest look else where. Porter is wahed up, mcalister has pierre and stecker breathing down his neck and another knee injury, reggie brown was always crummmy to much hype for a never was, walker ever sense injury has not been same. i would not count on any of these players. The rest are solid as a rock.
