Stewart vs. Ronnie Brown

The earlier poll was such a massive hit, let's do it again.
One of the parts I love about this job is how much value can change in a week. Seven days ago, I'm pretty sure every Ronnie Brown owner would have dealt him for a young, rising star like Jonathan Stewart. After Stewart was stuffed by the Vikings and Ronnie went wild, it's a closer call.
These are two of my favorite players. I tried to remain steadfast in my belief of Brown's abilities during the preseason Ricky Williams hype, and it's great to see him recovering all his skills. But how high is his ceiling? Will the Dolphins staff let him be a true lead back? Who will get more touches the rest of the way: Stewart or Brown?
That's a lot of questions. You can answer by choosing below. My gut says Stewart's ceiling for 2008 is a little higher. I like the offense around him better, especially the line. These are both low RB2 players who should prove to be good draft values, but my money is on Stewart being more consistent.

More polls please! the wisdom of the masses is almost always right just look at wall street....oh right.....um well anyways these are fun, so keep em coming, how bout one to help my team: who has the better long term value for this season, Chad Johnson or chris chambers?

At this point, who do you see having more value in a keeper league? Where do you predict Stewart will be ranked next year? Possibly a Lynch-esque ranking with a solid season?

I wouldn't have traded Ronnie Brown for Stewart last week.
I just don't agree that Stewart's ceiling is that high...after owning Carolina RBs in previous years, I know how they run that offense. They don't use the RBs to run the clock out with a lead in the end game. There aren't 40-50 carries to go around, ever (unless Weinke is the QB and D-Will is taking direct snaps). DeAngelo is a good, young RB; those guys are going to split action all season long unless one gets injured.
Ronnie was the top back last year before getting injured, and that was on a winless team. Their offensive line is even better this year (for run blocking at least). We've seen what his ceiling is...its the top RB.

Interesting points, but I still have to go with Stewart. Ronnie's ceiling WAS the top running back - until he had a major knee injury. He is definately on the way back, but he will never be quite as good. We have yet to see the best of Stewart and he has the potential to produce like Stephen Davis (spelling?) did back in 03.

John - Ocho Cinco by a MILE in that debate.

I love J. Stewart. I have six teams and I drafted J. Stewart on all of them.
Hey Gregg, how about this trade:
I was offered JCutler & Ocho Cinco for Wayne & Chris Perry. He won't do the deal until Monday after Wayne's bye week. I already have Warner as my quarterback (Garrard is my backup) and I'm loaded at running back, so Perry will be a bye week fill in at the most. Is the upgrade from Warner to Cutler worth my downgrade at receiver from Wayne to Ocho? My starting lineup right now before the trade is:
QB-Warner RB-Reggie Bush, Chris Johnson (or JStewart) WR-BMarshall, TOwens, RWayne TE-LJ Smith (due to Shockey injury) K-Scobee DEF-Green Bay

I am pending waivers. Am I worth wasting a waiver priority on or am I free agent material? The way things are going I don't think I'm ever going to amount to more than a flex player at best. :(
