Gregg - why do you rank J Gaffney so low? I think he is comparable to P Crayton who you seem to like.

Gaffney is the 3rd option on a very high-scoring team, like Crayton. After Gaffney took over for Stallworth last year, he scored 4 TDs in the last 5 games and went over 80 yards 3 times in those 5 games (the starters were rested in the final game).

Gaffney is facing a poor defense Week 1, and Welker may be nursing hurt ribs, but you have Gaffney at 62? Why no love?

Tony, I agree Gaffney should be ranked a little bit higher as long as Welker is gimpy. But the difference between he and Crayton is simply that Crayton is the #2 WR on his team, while Gaffney is #3. Yes, both are the third receiving option on their teams when they are on the field. But Gaffney will not be on the field as much as Crayton.

Of course, football is hardly ever as predictable as we'd like. So Gaffney could be a star this year. Good for you if that is the case and you had the fore-sight to play him.
