Bush'd

Michael Bush is a fine pickup. A good, not great, lottery ticket with a decent chance to start some games this season. Just don't expect him to put up numbers this week if he gets a chance. The Bills rush defense has been shockingly good, stonewalling the Seahawks and Jaguars. Bush put up solid numbers late against the Chiefs and he has good feet for a big man. But he also lumbers down the field, and doesn't always run like a true power back, rarely getting many yards after contact.
I expect Darren McFadden to start this game anyhow, although it's far from certain. It will be interesting to see how he fares against the Bills and if he has canyon-sized lanes to run through again. Former Rotoworld writer Bill Barnwell noted on ESPN.com that McFadden was quite boom-or-bust in Week 2, not that fantasy owners cared. They will care if the booms are reduced against a quality defense this weekend.

what do you guys think of bush compared to pierre thomas as far as value for the rest of the season?

Greg, this is off-topic, but for the second week in a row you left Michael Pittman out of your top 60? Is that intentional or accidental? He is 18th at RB this season--I think he deserves a little love, and competitor sites had him in their top 40.

I like Pierre Thomas's value going forward. Once Fargas gets healthy M. Bush will be an afterthought. Thomas is already entrenched in the starting rotation.

I like Pierre better for the rest of the season, too. While I think Bush (Michael) has more talent, Thomas will have more opportunity and is in a better offense. Too bad the Saints can't stop anybody... I'd like to see him close out a game or two with a lead before anointing him.

in their current situations, thomas has the edge in getting you points but as is neither is startable- the big question is which has the most potential to become a top 20-25 back and be fantasy useful as a weekly rb2/3 starter

I'd take Thomas. Just a better player on a better offense.

Gregg, as a loyal draft guide follower, I've found myself in a spot where I need to decide between Antonio Bryant and Courtney Taylor for my WR4 spot. Who do I go with?
Also, for RBs, I have Jacobs and Stewart in the fold, but would you start Tomlinson or Fred Jackson as my Flex?
