Grant and McGahee ready to go

Willis McGahee is probable for Sunday and the Ravens are only carrying two backs. That tells me they expect him to have a significant role. My gut says that Ray Rice and McGahee will split carries, so I don't want either one as a RB2 with Joe Flacco behind center.

Stay tuned on Ryan Grant's status. I'm getting some conflicting reports about whether he practiced Thursday. The AP said he didn't. We'll know soon enough.

Update: Grant didn't practice, but he's listed as probable. So that's ... good?

I have to choose between Thomas Jones, Earnest Graham or Ryan Grant... thoughts anyone?

I can start two of them...

I also have Ray Rice who is a sure bet to be riding the bench.. TJ and EG have favorable matchups but Grant is a machine and put up big numbers vs Minn last season.

Thomas Jones should do well against Miami and should be started on all teams.

Graham is up against NO run D and the only thing he has to worry about is if NO gets up alot early, and TB has to air it out.

Compare that to Grant possibly playing less than a full slot against perhaps the roughest front with a unproven QB running the show?

Jones and Graham are your money makers this week.

I agree with Jones and Graham. Grant has too many things working against him this week - injured, going against Minn's top-ranked run D, new QB, possible LJ-esque slow start after a holdout. But the biggest reason is that you won't know for sure until Monday night if he's even playing, and then you can't go back to Jones or Graham. I like Grant, but not Week 1. With good backups like you have, it's not worth the risk of a zero at your RB spot.

I'm in a really deep keeper league, so my QB spot is between Tarvaris Jackson and Trent Edwards. Also, I need one from Darren Sproles, Anthony Gonzalez, Darrell Jackson, Jeff King, Bernard Berrian or Rasheed Davis. What do you think? My other starters are E Graham and Fred T at RB, R Moss and L Fitz at WR, Winslow at TE, and Kaeding at K. PPR for TE's.

Jones & Graham without question.

QB Edwards and WR D. Jackson...Jackson will get plenty of looks with Marshall out. I wouldn't start Tavaris with a gun pointed at my head and especially since he has the knee issue.

I have Jamel Lewis as my RB2, my next viable option is Chris Johnson. Ray Rice is on the wire. What do you think?
