The injury no one talks about

A first-round fantasy pick missed the offseason because of a contract dispute. He hasn't practiced for nearly all of training camp, and it looks quite possible he won't play in the preseason. And yet, absolutely no one has batted an eye. The question becomes: Why aren't we more worried about Ryan Grant?
Because he came out of nowhere last season, Grant was the top-15 pick I felt least comfortable with. But I like the system in Green Bay, and I love the lack of true competition for carries. There is no doubt Grant is explosive. In a diluted year for backs, he just made the elite cut. This hamstring injury has lasted long enough for it to be a concern. I projected a huge gap after Grant originally to my RB11 (MJD), but that gap is closing. If I had a pick on the first round turn this weekend, I could now see passing on Grant for a wide receiver.

Grant is a joke, I will probabably get him in the END of rd 2 (I am drafting 1st overall). He is a half season wonder. GB was SO good with the pass last year, no one played the run. ANY RB could have had those numbers in GB last year. He has bust written all over him. In most mock drafts I have Jamal lewis MJD and Reggie Bush falling to the last 2nd rd pick. I would take all 3 of those guys WAY before I'd take Grant. OVER RATED! (The next AHman Green, how did he do without favre)?

I love guys like you. You guys think you know it all. I have dealt with people like you and you are always wrong. Bills do stink they will not go anywhere. They were close to the pats in 1 game okay they are going to the superbowl. You guys just insult instead of objecting with reason. you show no stats or good information to come up with your conclusuion. So taking advice from you or your comments I take with a grain of salt. People that come back without insults and stats to back them up i wil listen 2. Love when people jump on the band wagon of the haters. Do you need a freind to hold your hand buddy. Everyone is an injury away in football knuckle head. How long have you been playing fantasy what a joke. Anybody that thinks the bills are going anywhere this year is in for a real dissappointment. Yeah I bet you guys said the lions would win 10 games last year 2. You guys are on here to bash people without anything to back it up get a life and stats to go along with it.

What do Brandon Jacobs, Vernan Morency, Ahmed Bradshaw, Brandon Jackson, derrick Ward, DeShawn Wynn, and Ron Dayne all have in common? Ryan Grant couldn't beat out any of them for a roster spot in 2007.

He did not know the system. Another dummy. The guy had 900+ yards and 8 touchdowns in 7 games played and did awesome in the playoffs. Wake up. Do some research. Some runners do not get that production in a whole season. Wow you guys are way off the mark. Border Line idiots. Wake Up.

Hey mark that would be a huge mistake to take those guys before grant. Obviously not anyone could do it that is why he rose to the top. Lewis has always been good but i would take grant. Bush just has not lived up to the hype and he is just not big enough this is not college he can not out run these guys. MJD has taylor bad. I would not even think of drafting those 2 in the second round they are just not that good. They are change of pace backs. Grant is far superior than those to but lewis and him i believe will be close. i do not believe grant is a one year wonder. Also I think he finally was given the oppurtunity to shine and took full advantage of it. He is young and fast and has a great offensive line. That is a good combination. Grant will be a top ten running back by seasons end. That is my prediction. i would take him over even some first round projected runningbacks. The bottoms one's of course.

Since you felt the need to whip you d*** out first, my keeper league team is Peyton at QB, with RBs AP, Addai, Gore, Lynch, LJ and Stewart. My WRs are Reggie, Braylon, Chad and Plaxico, with Gates at TE. No joke. I'll let the bloggers vote if you need it, but I'm pretty sure you'd get your ass handed to you in my league.
