The Packers don't want Ryan Grant having too many carries. Mike McCarthy's enlightened approached should keep him healthy, and we're not worried if he really catches more passes.
Another injury no one's talking about: Jamal Lewis' hamstring.
Maybe D.J. Hackett will get those Steve Smith suspension starts after all.
The Ravens are being given no choice but to go young at quarterback.
Titans backfield looking like 50-50 split, but we knew that.
Remember when people were excited about the Redskins rookie wideouts?
The Cardinals beat writer still thinks Warner will get the call. We agree. Calling Mort wrong is premature. It makes sense the Cardinals would hold back the news as long as possible.
The Patriots offensive line is officially a concern.
Musa is really free now.

Any thoughts on whether C. Johnson is safe to start at flex in a PPR league week 1?
Other options are Felix Jones, D. Bowe or Reggie Brown.

The reports say he will try to play threw the injury! He will start week 1. Winslow played threw it last season and had a break out season. They are saying crumpler played threw it. Also ellis hobbs for the pats. He has a partially torn labrum. The only problem would be if he re injured it or popped out again. I searched all over to find out everything. On web md some guy said he played a full season at linebacker with a fully torn labrum and a partial tear is his rotar cuff. that was intriging news. Obviously NFL there are harder hitters . Winslow showed no signs of being hampered by an injury last season and you would not of even new he had it. If he does not re-injur it he will pay huge dividens. They were saying on espn that is not as big of deal as they are making it out to be and he can play threw it. The only concern i really have is sense they probably are not a playoff team would he opt for surgery if they are out of playoffs that is a possibility. but then his contract I believe is up so will he? Once he does good for a couple weeks unload him! That is what I am going to do. Lets hope he lasts that long I do not like risks and injury's. Let someone else worry about him.

Oh I hear splitting carries. If they split carries you want the goal line guy there. Otherwise I would rock BOWE because new englands pass defense is suspect to say the least and they will be behind and forced to throw! Bowe should be solid week 1. Hope this helps. i would dump reggie brown and look for someone else. He never lived up to the hype you might want to grab the rook if he is available! Deshean.

Anonymous; you might take a look at the latest blurb on Felix. The thinking right now is mostly kick returns for him. I agree with going to Bowe if the QB can find him or anyone laying on his back!

ugh... is that officially the first "sit/start" question of the season?

The issue with Bowe is that NE does a very good job at shutting down #1 receivers.
I dont buy the latest blurb on Felix for anything more than just a slow news day. The opener with Cleveland is likely to turn into a blowout for the Cowboys or a track meet, either which way you cold see Jones seeing a good amount of playing time
