Meet Mr. Stewart

It's safe to say that Jonathan Stewart is healthy. Damn! How is that man 235 pounds? Not to be out-done, DeAngelo Williams broke a 60-yard score on the next possession. Stewart needed to make a statement to earn an even Week 1 split of carries, and he did just that.

I saw Stewart play a bunch
at Oregon and as ridiculous
as it is compare anyone to
the NFL's leading rusher of
all time, Stew is a bigger
version of Emitt Smith.

Wether he'll have anything
approaching the durability
of Smith over time is an
open question.

I was worried about stewart because of the toe injury. also his last game but he only did have 4 carries and it was with the second team. This eases my concerns. They were ranting and raving over this guy not to long ago. I drafted him 5th hoping he could split carries and be goal line guy for my flex position. I hope he keeps it up cause I need him.
