Any Time Warner cable subscribers who want to prep for their draft should check out the Fantasy Huddle tonight, and every Wednesday during the season. I'll on on a panel of guests talking about a Mock Draft tonight, but the show has good stuff all season long. It's on in most of Texas, the Carolinas, Ohio, Kansas City, San Diego, and oh, well, you can check out the information here.
Working on draft guide updates, but will have some more thoughts on my Mock last night in a bit.

I'm going to be posting the results of my favorite industry draft tomorrow morning. (The draft is tonight). But for quicker Mock Draft data, and available drafts you can join starting any time you want, check out our new site MockDrafts.Rotoworld.com.
This site is just getting started, but should be a cool tool for everyone in the coming years.
Okay, so we don't update the rankings on our video previews every day. In fact, Tony Scheffler and Jeremy Shockey have seen boosts since we taped the video below. Scheffler has quietly enjoyed a healthy camp and the uncertainty at wideout in Denver should help him. Find out more of our positional favorites, PPR boosts, and strategy below

It's been a crazy day for draft guide updates, but let's look at my other headlines to know from preseason Week 2.
1. After another nice preseason effort, Eddie Royal looks to be keeping that starting job for good. And it was interesting to see Andre Hall replace Selvin Young twice in the red zone. Vulture, anyone?
2. Rams lost two backup offensive linemen for the season. The starters were miserable protecting Marc Bulger again this week. I won't overreact to preseason efforts, but another game like this will be cause for conern.
3. Reggie Brown couldn't stay healthy for another game. He's at risk of losing some targets to DeSean Jackson, who continues to play well.
4. Kenton Keith was the fifth-string running back in Indy. He looks like a goner. Darius Walker didn't get a carry in Houston. I'm guessing the Texans Week 1 roster will include Chris Brown, Steve Slaton, Chris Taylor and either Ahman Green or Marcel Shipp.

Throughout the off-season, Ahman Green has virtually been ignored by Fantasy Nation. I've never seen a projected starter get so ignored in drafts. We had him ranked 48th at running back. Looks like even that was too optimistic.
After getting hurt in the first play of the preseason, Green may not make the Texans. Says Houston Chronicle scribe John McClain:
Coach Gary Kubiak said Sunday that they knew Ahman Green would be out for three weeks when he suffered the groin injury. That means he might not play in preseason. If Green doesn't play in preseason to go with being injured for much of last season, I don't think they'll go through that with him again. I think he'll be gone.
I don't think Kubiak and Rick Smith would have signed Shipp if they thought they were going to keep Green and Chris Brown. At least Brown gained some yardage against the Saints.
I agree with McClain. While Shipp is hardly guaranteed to make the team, signing him gives them options if they are preparing to move on without Green. Green is owed $4.5 million this season. They may as well go cheap and roll with Chris Brown, Steve Slaton, Chris Taylor, and possibly Shipp. Those four players don't combine to make Green's salary. Signing Green was a huge mistake last season, and the Texans may as well cut their losses now.

Evan Silva is on the Dose Monday, so I thought I'd break down the preseason Week 2 headlines here throughout the day. We'll keep these quick, but they are the items you have to know from the almost meaningful
1. Kevin Smith passes Tatum Bell, starts for Lions: Moves like this in preseason Week 2 aren't always permanent, but this one might be. Next week is a better indication. We'll have to watch closely next week, but I still don't think Bell is a lock to make the team.
2. Chad Johnson hurts his shoulder: All signs point towards Johnson being ready for Week 1. We worry some about Johnson's readiness for the year after a lost offseason, but ultimately it shouldn't affect his draft slot much.
3. Rudi keeps failing: After promises that he'd play Sunday, Rudi Johnson's hamstring tightened up. Chris Perry started and looks like a committee back at worst to start the year. Kenny Watson played behind Perry, although they may just want to see what they have in Perry. Perry should be climbing boards, with Rudi falling. Either way, Rudi is confirming our worst fears with a lost month of work.

The Fantasy Fix Dolphins preview is up, complete with an awesome cameo from Ronnie Brown to start off the show. Brown has been the subject of some debate at Rotoworld headquarters. (Okay, I never actually see Evan Silva, Patrick Dahl, and Chris Wesseling. But we IM debate aggressively!). Will Ricky Williams split carries with him simply to start the year and then fade into a backup role? Or will this be an equal share all year? Will both of them stay healthy at the same time enough for it to matter? Is Ted Ginn only worth taking in leagues that award points for return yardage, like one I drafted this week?

One of the hardest parts of my job is to evaluate what matters and what doesn't in training camp. We get so caught up in the day-to-day news, the tendency is to overreact and start drafting based only on August, rather than all the reasons we ranked a player a certain why to begin with. Many camp stories are telling signs. More of them are forgotten, are reversed, or look ridiculous in the cold light of Week 3.
With that introduction, I have to admit it hasn't been a great camp for the Jonathan Stewart believer. He finally made his debut last night, but he's lost some ground to DeAngelo Williams, who has enjoyed a fine camp. Stewart looked okay, the lightest 235 pounds you'll ever see, but he's running tentative. Check out Steve Reed's column on Stewart, which is enlightening.

I'll be chatting with our friends on the NFFC Message Board at 2:00 PM. If I'm tardy responding to an email of yours (trying to catch up, believe me), then get to me in the chat.
A dark cloud is hanging over New York today, so let's lighten things up with a boatload of rankings, previews, and tiers.
NBC has rolled out our Fantasy Fix position previews and my running back tiers are live on the main site. Below, Tiffany and I talk receivers. Check out the fancy intro! In a PPR league last night, I went WR-WR-WR in the first three rounds as an experiment. I still like my running backs, so we'll see how it works.. (I had the last pick in the first round.) I may post more of the videos on the blog, but all the positions are ready if you open the video player.
Which Defense will bounce back huge in 2008?
