SJax is in a contract year and needs to find a better form of entertainment than trying to make himself go blind. He burned me last year after talking his smack about predicting 2500 APY. Get with the program Steven!
^Agree with the above - Jackson put me in a hole last season, but almost entirely due to 60% G's recomendation, I not only survived, but won the leagues (lots of people ignoring that Jackson was back to being a beast by season's end). Lendale was the penultimate stop-gap in 07, as I'm sure a lot of other Rotoworlders can justify.
Here's my take on the rest of the post:
I'm not really looking for a deep sleeper at WR (I'll have the Devin Hester, medium well)
Jackson will be fine, and I will be giving him a second chance - if he f's me over this year, it's a fantasy adios
Even if McCown begins the season as Miami's starter, everyone knows he's not long for the job, with 2 young guys waiting in the wings.
Oakland will DEFINITELY have a 3-to-16 headed monster this season at RB(see Gregg Knapp's track record). It will, at the very least, be a split between Fargas/McMuffin... I mean, -Fadden, and if Bush shows them anything this summer, it will be Fargas on early downs, McMuffin on receiving downs, and Bush in short yardage (the new TJ Duckett!)
1) Will Franklin might not be fantasy relevant this year, but all he has to do to be football relevant is beat out Jeff Webb and Devard Darling... not exactly a tough road to a starting gig.
2) Love S-Jax... he took me to back-to-back dynasty league championships the last two years. The groin has been a bit balky, but the Rams will be smart and sit him 'til camp. Last season was tough, but he finished on a tear.
3) All 3 Miami QBs are learning a new offense... McCown is little more than a veteran journeyman insurance policy. I give Beck the edge to start the season with Henne finishing it out. The Sparano (bada-bing!) regime has to want their guy to win out in the end. That and I think people give Cam Cameron too much credit for being a QB (read: Beck) guru... they said that about Brian Billick, too.
4) Oakland is going to have to find ways to put several backs on the field at once. McFadden's game reminds me too much of Reggie Bush's and I'm not convinced it translates well to workhorse NFL RB. The rave reviews he gets are for play in space and 'home-run' plays (Jerious Norwood anybody?)... but, what I haven't read is that he can block (which he wasn't really asked to do in college) or that he is good after contact (because he hasn't ever had to deal with contact running by/around guys). With Fargas, you seem to get an injury prone 2 down back that doesn't catch particularly well. Bush can block and catch, but can he pound the ball? Talk about a messy situation... my guess is that McFadden plays the Reggie Bush role while Fargas and Michael Bush split Deuce's role with the exception that MB seems more suited to be the traditional 3rd down back. Given Kiffin's USC roots, this scenario seems logical.
Hhmmm...the news about Steven Jackson disappoints me a little. He seems like a lock as a top 5 pick in fantasy, BUT with these nagging injury problems (i.e. last season, now missing OTAs) do any of you guys feel like that drops his draft status ever so slightly?
Also, the Raiders backfield has so many enticing choices, but I guess I'm gonna stay away. My guess is those guys will all get drafted too early for my blood anyway. Any comments from you guys (or Gregg) would be appreciated!

And don't you jinx Jackson, Gregg.

mcfadden is gonna be used like mojo (more touchs) while fargas will be used like fred taylor (starter but less carries)
3rd or 4th rd is gonna be a steal for mcfadden especially for ppr leagues
bush is gonna be the backup to fargas or short yds guy (chain mover)
there is no way al davis is gonna spend 60 million dollars on a r/b and not use him for at least 20 touchs a game (15-17 carries-4 to 5 rec a game)

Got mine in the mail this week. So if it's not on newstands already, it should be any day now.
