Puff Piece Detetector: Ricky Williams

First things first: No pun intended with the title.

I have to admit I'm a sucker for Ricky Williams. He passes the test I have with movies; I consider one worthwhile If I've never seen any like it. And there is only one Ricky Williams.

Ricky is still in South Florida because he's a hard worker, unlike his reputation. Plus he's cheap and Ronnie Brown is coming back from injury. Nick Saban, a brittle branch of the Parcells coaching tree, loved Ricky. And the Tuna seems to feel the same.

Still, can we possibly trust a 31-year-old who essentially hasn't played in four seasons? The puff pieces lately focus on Williams getting an offseason to truly train for the first time in years. Not sure I buy that argument, but I do buy Ricky starting the season in an almost even split with Brown, before slowly fading or getting hurt.

I'm combining running topics here, but how would you rank Williams. Right now, I have him as the RB44, an eleventh round grade. I suspect that is higher than where he is getting drafted, and I'm trying to stop myself from pushing him higher. Where would you put him?

lol ew, u'd put ricky in ur pipe and smoke him?

Ricky be traded to the Cowboys. They like people on rebounds. Unless they sign T Henry. even so, why bother?

Jalen Parmele

Strengths:
Very good size and bulk...Nice athleticism and quickness...Strong and tough...Has good patience, vision and instincts...Excellent inside runner...Breaks some tackles and does not go down easily..Good short yardage guy...Solid blocker...Productive.

Weaknesses:
Doesn't play to his timed speed...Is not really a threat to get outside and turn the corner...Not very elusive and lacks great change of direction skills...Needs to work on his ball security..Marginal receiver with limited experience in the passing game.

A RB who will be used little in the passing game is not a RB I want in my fantasy team.

Sound like Ron Dayne or Tyrone Wheatley.

I dont think he would be much of a handcuff to be had anyways. For one hes on a rebuilding team that even L.T in his prime would have had his hands full.
#2 only thing keeping him on the roster is what hes done in the past. O.K so hes a flyer.
11 round picks are producing players or rooks with no ceiling. Not has beens in a 50/50, on a @**% team.
You can have Ricki, I'll pick Laurent Robinson, Meachem, or any of the rookies drafted
