Like he never left

Chad Johnson showed up to minicamp, proving once again that summer holdout talk is inherently worthless. Nothing to see here folks - keep drafting him as you normally would.

i hope he falls flat on his face this year. there's like a million warning signs not to draft him, but he'll still go high. i hope theres some justice in the universe and all the crybaby WR's like him become busts. then what lol

It will soon be time for Chad to start working out on his driveway with Rosenhaus close by. It looks like it is time for T.O. 2 - The Sequel starring Ocho Cinco.

Nobody can pull a T.O. like T.O. though... like most sequels, Ocho Cinco is a pale imitation of WR wackiness greatness.

It saddens me that I was one of the people that defended this guy earlier in his career when people were calling him "the next TO".
"No way," I said. "Chad's antics are all in good fun, TO is just selfish and money hungry."
pppFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTT
Good call on that one, self.
Gregg, I think you're dismissing this WAY too early. Pending some serious relationship-mending prior to my fantasy drafts, I'm not touching Johnson. Even if he does suit up and play some games, remember how the rest of the TO debacle played out. Half-assing on the field, pouting, and eventually getting sent home. If I'm spending a high pick on a receiver, I want to know for damn sure it's someone who at least WANTS to and WILL (barring injury) play an entire season for their current team.
I absolutely will not "draft him as I normally would" - he goes in the 2nd-3rd round in all my leagues "normally". Not gonna knowingly roll the dice like that with one of my first 3 picks. And I'm a risk taker (viva Clinton Portis!)

Dox you are right on the money with this one.
If the circus continues (and it likely has only begun), I don't draft Johnson until he becomes a definite value pick (5th round maybe?).

I expect fences mended well before week 1. if he's in the lineup, i dont see the difference. and it would be a shocker if he was out of the lineup at this point. He is falling in drafts by the way, but more to the late third/fourth. not too far.
