Smith vs. Colston vs. Marshall

Some of you thought the Jamal Lewis vs. Michael Turner battle wasn't very close. I would argue that many of the same people thought Lewis was overrated as a fifth-round pick last year, but the people have spoken. Today's three-way battle is hopefully more interesting: Steve Smith vs. Marques Colston vs. Brandon Marshall.
This year looks promising for Smith, but he's annually overrated by us fantasy types because he's a great NFL player. He only topped 1,200 yards or eight touchdowns once in his career. Marshall and Colston have already equaled that total and play for better passing teams - especially Colston. There is some projecting here, but let's allow that Marshall is healthy well before most draft days, which is expected. Rank 'em in order if you please.

I know there are some Steve Smith lovers out there, but don't count me as one. I have serious doubts about Delhomme returning to form and I don't believe in Jarrett getting his act together, Mush finding the fountain of youth, or DJ Hackett staying injury free. So basically Steve Smith will be enjoying more double coverage. He can still put up the numbers despite this however.
Marshall should yet again be the focal point of the Broncos aerial attack but I think he and Culter are set up for a down year.
Colston to me is a lock of these three to give you close to the same numbers he's posted in his first three seasons. Brees is still playing at an All-Pro level and if the Aint's can somehow wrangle Shockey away from the Giants, that would give Colston even more love in fantasy drafts.

I rank them:
Colston, Smith, Marshall for redraft;
Colston, Marshall, Smith for dynasty.
I'd have had Smith first in both lists if Delhomme's elbow could be trusted or they'd taken a decent replacement in the draft. I need to see another year from Marshall, even if he proves to be 100% recovered from the nerve damage. Colston seems to have some minor knee issues, but has been very consistent in a good offense (season to season, not game to game) and his game isn't speed dependent.

Colston is heads and shoulders above both of these guys as far as consistency goes. He's the focal point in a pass-first offense.
I'd take a risk on Smith before Brandon, because even tho he's entering the magical 3rd year, I think Marshall is an off-the-filed risk.
Colston, Smith (would be a shaky #1), Marshall (could outproduce both before him but is risky)

marshall, colston, smith. marshall is going to be a beast. he has no weakness. He's big, has good hands and is good after the catch.
