Looking for Work (Part Two)
The best available remaining free agents.
Wideouts
1. Cedrick Wilson - Could still help a team as a reserve.
2. Eddie Kennison - Quiet end to an ornery, but steady career.
3. Peerless Price - For a brief moment, he was thought of as a top-15 receiver in the league.
4. Keenan McCardell - Eighth all time in receptions.
5. Eric Moulds - 22nd.
6. David Givens - That's why you take the guaranteed money.
7. Troy Brown
Others Notables
Kyle Brady, TE - Most imposing player I've ever seen in person
Jason Dunn, TE - Where have all the blocking tight ends gone?
Jerramy Stevens, TE - Will be cursed by Seattle fans for years to come
Larry Allen, G - Uncertain if future Hall of Famer wants to play again.
Kyle Turner, T- Second act in Kansas City was passable.
Ted Washington, DT - Lasted longer than he had any right to.
Booger McFarland, DT - Should get a job.
Junior Seau, ILB- Not certain if the Patriots want him back.
Rosevelt Colvin, OLB - Maybe the best player out there if he can get healthy.
Takeo Spikes, OLB - Reputation has exceeded his play for a few years.
Ian Gold, OLB - Lightweight, but a fine playmaker until recently.
Andre Dyson, CB - Had a decent 2006.
Kelly Herndon, CB - A bust as a free agent in Tennessee.
Ty Law- Would make a lot of sense at safety.
Kennoy Kennedy, S - Productive player. Surprising there has been so little interest.

Comments
Jerramy Stevens was done three years into his prime. brady was overrated ever since being drafted so high. a lot of the receivers had solid careers but i think the age of veteran recievers hanging around has passed ever since Rice retired. not many left.

i think some players to add will be:
QB
Brett Favre - Finally!!
Steve McNair - Finally!! - part two
Brian Griese – at one point was a sleeper… some how. Gotta love shannahan.
Joey Harrington – was never good. Drum of retirement is beating slowly. Future Tim Couch bff.
Chad Pennington – injury, poor production, or some guy named Kellen, could do him in.
RB
Shaun Alexander – waiting to poison some backfield with committee affect.
Reuben Droughns - the Ward/Bradshaw monster did him in. at least he had that magical season in Denver.
Lamont Jordan – just get it over with!
Dominic Rhodes – had value at one point. Addai forced him out of town. Now he and Hart will force him into retirement. this is it.
Jesse Chatman - the Cam Cameron lieutenant is on his final assignment.
Adrian Peterson II - Forte could be his demise from significance... although he never should have had any to begin with.
Aaron Stecker – not a good sign their looking for an upgrade. If Shaun Alexander signs, he’s a special teamer or done.
Correll Buckhalter – this has to be it for him. The bionic knees he received as a birthday present from Frank Gore extended his career five years.
Verland Morency – Ryan Grants arch-nemesis. DeShawn Wynn and Brandon Jackson wont be receiving Christmas cards anytime soon either.
Deshaun Foster – disappointment year-in, year-out. Fantasy players will be happy to see him go. Deangelo Williams sent nastygrams to his inbox for years.
Ahman Green – no way in hell he’ll ever be healthy enough to impact. Dominick Davis(Williams) injury-ghost looms restless in H-Town.
Samkon Gado – one last hurrah. Ricky Williams strikes again.
Deuce McAllister – injuries spell uh-oh for once dominant back.
Priest Holmes – Finally!! Part 3. lets have a moment of silence for the priest of fantasy.
WR
Chris Henry - Talented malcontent never could keep his violent arrogance limited to just on the field. The poster boy lesson of why athletes shouldn’t wear their own jerseys out on the town.
Terry Glenn – arthritic knees could do him in. always productive. Needs to work more on Frank Gore friendship, less on David Boston friendship.
Mike Furrey – cashed in while he could after productive 06… No Mike Martz – no significance.
Troy Williams – from now on, everyone will always be skeptical of short receiver drafting.
Shaun McDonald – see above, minus the cashed in.
Marty Booker – had a good year. Somehow remained in Fantasy footballers consciousness for year.
Devery Henderson / Terrance Copper – Sean Payton, lets just cut em and get it over with!
Joe Jurevicius – Niko could ruin another receiving core... or give way to Givens like production.
Deion Branch – not sure if he can have an after injury career revival, after always being overrated. This could be it.
Ike Hilliard – could this be it?? should be. At least he had the one final PPR productive year.
Ike Bruce – HOF farewell tour.
Amani Toomer – can still put up numbers but theres gotta be an upgrade somewhere. Should thank Giant GM’s for horrible receiver drafting over the years.
Arnaz Battle – somehow will always have fantasy value while on SF
D-Jax – last chance.
Javon Walker - after this year.
TE
Bo Scaife – say it aint so Bo! Sadly, was my no.1 TE for one point. Crumpler could turn him into Ben Troupe.
Eric Johnson – couple of good year in San Fran aren’t going to make up for catch-fall-tackled, catch-fall-tackled, lack of yac routine.
Desmond Clark – we’ll always have 2006. needed Rex Grossman to stay in his ‘prime’… sad.
Randy McMichael – teased us last year with move to high-powered rams offense, only to be less high-powered and more offensive.

... that is whenever you decide to add the 'Who's done' column

Not many surprises here... Vet. wideouts really do seem to hang on until either carried or dragged off the field, huh? I see some guys on the 'notables' list who will make a roster for 08, but might not have more than that left in them.
Might be more fun predicting which guys will be looking for work after the season.

funny how a guy can be looking for work this year when he was pronounced "done" a year ago :-)
