Four Guys with the chance to bounce back
This week's Fix looks at guys with the opportunity to bounce back this season. I'm not necessarily saying that they will, just that they are set up with excellent chances.
I know the one minute video is tough to bear (especially in these dark non-Tiffany summer days), so my list from the video is after the jump
I considered players like Travis Henry, Julius Jones, Roy Williams, and Matt Leinart. Who do you think is set up for a bounceback?

It's got to Frank Gore. Last year, he dipped big time. This year, I expect him to bounce back to be a top 5-7 back.

QB can come back quicker than a baseball pitcher. Gunter? Thomas Jones?? Its not officially a comeback if they weren't ever worth having in the first place. Thomas is worse than his worthless younger brother Julius, I'll be passing on both of those spares this year.

I think Heap has the best chance out of those 4. He's a very solid player and a go to guy when he's healthy and he has a QB that can throw his way; Also a Red Zone threat.
Evans, I think, is what he is; Thats not going to be a high octane offense. Evans is the best receiever they have. I don't think he 's a bounce back guy......he's right where he is going to be in a good season.
Vince Young is only in his 3rd year. He has not even climbed the ladder yet. If he has a good season, I would consider it part of his maturity process up to a level he's capable of going to. Given that, however, I do anticipate he will have better numbers in 2008 than he did last year; Just not sure I would consider that "a bounce back".
Rudi Johnson? I think he's finished. He was god awhful last year, he's not any younger, and he wasn't exactly a game breaker in his prime.
I tend to agree with a response here that Thomas Jones has the chance to be a major surprise in 2008; That OL has the pieces that could really make a turnaround.
How about Reggie Bush? If he matures a bit after a "sober" year, he's got all the talent in the world to be one of the league best, and he plays in a high octane offense.

I would love to see Steve Smith explode back on the scene. Love his intensity and game. Would like to see LJ do the same.

I love Gregg's choices of Lee Evans and Todd Heap. I'm not sold at all on Vince Young or Rudi Johnson though. I think Rudi has simply run out of gas and I look for a big committee there. Young just doesn't have targets to throw to and he hasn't shown enough passing acumen to be anything more than an interesting fantasy bench player.
I agree completely with b roo about Delhomme. He was off to a great start before the injury last year and he has new weapons to work with.
I'm not on board with McNabb having a big bounce back. His receiver weapons are still limited and he'll never be a running threat again. He'll still be a decent starter, but not a stud.
One obvious choice is Frank Gore. I think most people agree with that one though. His number of touches should be higher and the line will play better this year.
My dark horse is Deuce McAllister. I love the way he runs and with Bush proving he isn't an every down option, I look for them to lean on him more than you would think.

Ask Kevin Jones how HE feels about Frank Gore's chances for a bounce back season in the new MARTZ "juggernaut" offense.... 4 carries a GAME anyone??
