Any Requests?

I'm not sure how many of you guys watched or listened to our Fantasy Fix Live show on Sunday mornings last year. We met yesterday to begin planning for the show and are will be throwing around ideas over the next few weeks on how to improve. Is it too heavy on start or sit calls?

If there is anything you'd like to see on the show, speak now or forever hold your peace. Nothing is too off the wall. Back with some thoughts on Michael Pittman in a bit.

Gregg,

I love the show. Watched it every Sunday and got through every week when i called in.

I love the Start/Sit questions but sometimes they got a little repetitious when people would ask almost the same questions or ask you to pick 3 WRs and then rattle of a list of 10 guys, and you looked a little frazzled sometimes (i don't blame you).

I would like it if you could expound on your weekly position rankings. maybe you could elaborate on why you think a handful of guys are going to have big weeks. Who are your sleepers that week and why? You could use the phone calls to segue into players that stand out to you for whatever reason that week.

Maybe you could break it up with some stats? who are the league leaders in overall fantasy points each week? it might be hard since everybody uses different scoring systems but i have faith in you!

Forgive my rambling, but I love the show! Can't wait for the season (and Tiffany).

The fewer start/sit calls the better. I agree with the commenter above on a deeper level of analysis on your rankings.

I also enjoyed the show and watched every week. I think the show is good for beginners, but for those of us who are in multiple leagues and have played fantasy football for years, the information wasn't that valuable. Basically what I am looking for is minimal discussion of the stone-cold locks to start. This probably doesn't change much each week and could just be in a ticker at the bottom of the screen. Then focus your discussion on the middle tier guys we are all always debating between...pros and cons of each guy. And then a few sleepers of course.

This is the best blog on the Web. The show is great too. I agree that repeating the same questions for who to start and sit can get repetitive. Most dolts don't bother to read your rankings which would answer 99% of the questions. I would agree that further analysis of why you expect certain players to have breakthrough games is most insightful especially for players who aren't on the "duh" list like LT and Brady.

Hi Gregg,
I watched a few episodes as well. Enjoyed it. I agree with the guys above for the most part.
I'm guessing that a large percentage of your audience has taken a step past "beginner" level (I don't think the good folks that read this blog consider themselves beginners!), therefore, leaving the obvious guys almost completely out of the discussion wouldn't be bad thing.
Help us Fantasy super-junkies with our mid-tier head scratchers!!

sorry im new to this site, i get to it via link from pft. what show are you talking about and what network is it on? i also agree that as somebody who only does dynasty leagues (for the challenge) the no brainer start sits have never made much sense to me. we all know who the must starts are. thanks and i like the site.

Ummm, Tiffany doing the show in a bikini? You totally set that one up. More sleepers and waiver wire pickups is second on my list of ideas.
