Veterans who were helped by Draft
Here are some veterans who got a value boost or a surprising hold on draft weekend ... I may use some of these in a future column.
Ronnie Brown - Nice lead blocker.
Jason Campbell: Lots of new toys to play with
Rudi Johnson: Bengals didn't bring in competition.
Jay Cutler: Ryan Clady and Eddie Royal drafted to help the franchise quarterback.
Drew Bennett: Bad news for Rams fans, but Donnie Avery won't provide competition.
Thomas Jones: No new competition.
Ahman Green/Chris Brown: Steve Slaton may take third downs, but it could have been a lot worse.
Marvin Harrison: If they are worried about Harrison not coming back, they didn't show it.
Chiefs Starting receiver: For all the A's Kansas City deserves, they needed a better prospect at wideout than Will Franklin. Or two.
Tatum Bell: We figured he'd get a higher drafted rookie to face off against than Kevin Smith. Although Smith can certainly win that battle.
Who did I miss?

Comments
Ernest Graham. TB did not draft a RB, so he looks like the sure starter there next season.

Frank Gore, as the 49ers drafted two linemen who can add to the depth of their offensive line and possibly blunt the blow that Larry Allen retiring could make.

edgerrin james... no real competition.
if kevin smith isn't real comp for tatum... then a 6th rounder for edge certainly isn't.

Although people feel Barber's stock took a hit this draft. I feel it may be benificial to Barbers Td totals as Felix will take him closer to the goal line then Julius. I feel very confident, that Barber hitting 15 td's and 1000 yards is very attainable.

Roddy White - Ryan should be an upgrade even in his rookie year helping Roddy.
