Veterans who were helped by Draft
Here are some veterans who got a value boost or a surprising hold on draft weekend ... I may use some of these in a future column.
Ronnie Brown - Nice lead blocker.
Jason Campbell: Lots of new toys to play with
Rudi Johnson: Bengals didn't bring in competition.
Jay Cutler: Ryan Clady and Eddie Royal drafted to help the franchise quarterback.
Drew Bennett: Bad news for Rams fans, but Donnie Avery won't provide competition.
Thomas Jones: No new competition.
Ahman Green/Chris Brown: Steve Slaton may take third downs, but it could have been a lot worse.
Marvin Harrison: If they are worried about Harrison not coming back, they didn't show it.
Chiefs Starting receiver: For all the A's Kansas City deserves, they needed a better prospect at wideout than Will Franklin. Or two.
Tatum Bell: We figured he'd get a higher drafted rookie to face off against than Kevin Smith. Although Smith can certainly win that battle.
Who did I miss?

Ben Roeth. - Steelers get a new weapon with Mendenhall - not to mention Sweed.

If you list Rudi - you might as well list Kenny Watson since he was the better back and would be no surprise to see the same sort of thing develop this year.

Cutler got Clady, not Williams, who was his teammate at Vandy

Delhomme and the Panther's passing game in general got some help in Otah and Stewart. Also, no new QB means they like Moore and Jake remains 'the guy'.
LJ and Croyle got some line help... will it matter? Croyle also avoids more competition for another year.
Seattle's offense should get an all around boost from John Carlson who can block and catch...
While I'm not crazy about Ryan or Flacco at this point, Roddy White and Mark Clayton could see some improvement with long-term stability at QB.

Here's a stretch:
The Chargers' secondary is going to be just sick next year. Does this help their linebackers IDP standings?

Plaxico Burress, If Mario can come in and Contribute then teams can't roll coverage to him. Last year none was scared of the other receivers on the Giants. This year Mario comes in and Smith is getting better.
