Oh wait... This isn't a fantasy draft... But whomever the Giants pick can't possibly be a surprise. Afterall, they took Mathias Kiwanuka a couple of years back when they already had Strahan, Umenyiora, Tuck, and a dozen other glaring weaknesses. I do believe their first round pick will likely go to the defensive side of the ball, and I'm guessing they go back to the well at DL to build depth as they face the inevitable departure of Michael Strahan (this year or next). With that said the Champs take DE Lawrence Jackson of USC.

A bit of a reach perhaps. This whole mock just emphasizes the age old question of BPA or reach for a need. This isn't even really a need for NYG anyway. By the way, congrats on winning the Bowl, I was at Texas Stadium when u beat us in the playoff game. Very depressing. Can't wait for next season to start.

If it was to shake out like this- Jerod Mayo, LB, Tennessee would and should be the pick.
Waited 2 days for that?
If not Mayo, Tyrell Johnson or DaJuan Morgan maybe. Maybe.

I thought they took Kiwanuka because they thought Strahan was going to retire back then?
Mayo or Phillips would be who I think will go here
