The Browns continue to trade away picks, moving up twice to grab inside linebacker Beau Bell (nice IDP prospect), then send next year's third-round pick for Martin Rucker. Odd pick. Rucker is a no block, all catch tight end with a high ceiling. Does that indicate anything about how the Browns see Kellen Winslow's future?
Tashard Choice gives Dallas options at running back if Marion Barber ever leaves. He is a complete back I was watching closely in this draft. This isn't a great landing spot for him in the short-term for fantasy leagues, as he'll be their third back.

I like Choice a lot more than his situation, but the Cowboys have got to be thinking that Barber may try to hit the market now.
Winslow has all the talent in the world, but seems to have a pretty major surgery every year, post accident. Its a good move for the Browns to grab some depth behind him in a year with plenty of good TE's.
My favorite pick in the 4th is Lavelle Hawkins to Tennessee. In the run up to the draft, I've had Hawkins near the top of the second big cluster of receivers, in talent, and now he is in a place where he might be the best WR on the roster. While the Titans should've grabbed a receiver earlier, they got a good one late.

Given his injury history, any further production from Kellen Winslow is like found money. The Browns are wise to have a backup plan. Willpower can replace cartilage for only so long.

The Browns traded away next year's 3rd Rder to take Rucker in the 4th this year.
That says alot about how they think Winslow's career is going to be short.
I'm not really familiar with Rucker, but he didn't time really well in his 40s. And he's projected as a pass catcher only. Slow TEs that can catch are a dime a dozen.
I think thats reaching some even if Winslow only plays another few years.
