Nikko finds a home
It's amazing how much a 697-yard season and some Rosenhaus magic can rehab your value. No one wanted Donte Stallworth last offseason, but that was largely due to some concerns about a positive drug test.
After fitting in to the Patriots system, but hardly shining, Stallworth was rewarded by the Browns with a seven-year, $35 million deal. That gives Rosenhaus a nice talking point with future clients, but the key number is $17 million for Stallworth over the first four years - much more reasonable.
Unlike Bernard Berrian, Jerry Porter, Ernest Wilford, and Isaac Bruce, at least Stallworth is joining an excellent offense. He'll get great matchups on the outside with Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow attracting attention. Stallworth's signing is fantastic news for Derek Anderson, who also still has Joe Jurevicius inside.
Still, there are only so many targets to go around. Stallworth has never topped 1,000 yards in a season, and I doubt he'll start now. 850 is a better target, which makes him a WR4/5 to grab at the end of fantasy drafts, not as a starter.

can you please tell me what makes the jags a bad offense? or better yet not an excellent offense?
MJD/FreddieT on the backfield, garrard, almost no interceptions last year, porter and williams, with walker as the third WR...
thanks

that's fair enough. i dont think they are an offense that will help a wr's numbers though.
