The official assignments for the first annual Pancake Blocks Mock Draft are below. I will be including all the info for the draft next week, but we probably won't get started until April 1. They also had the Vikings passing on Derrick Harvey & Ryan Clady @ #17 and drafting DeSean Jackson. Unfortunately, that just seems dumb enough for the Vikes to do.

Well Jimmo I hope the team doesn't leave Jerry in the war room by himself or there's no telling what might happen. He'll trade away all our picks for the next 10 years to satisfy his mancrush for DMC. Which he may do anyway if we get Pacman to cover our CB need. It might be good if Marv and I strategize though so Gregg you can send Marv my email if you want. Also, it will be good when Gregg gets back to blogging about FF, I'd rather read his wife's food blog than this Red Sox stuff.

Well, if Pacman does fill that void, can you really be sure he'll perform? I wouldn't be so sure that, if they do not trade up, that they still take a CB in the first or second round.

Chad Henne to the Bears in round 1?!?!? Are you kidding me, he is so overrated to be even the #2 qb. Anytime I watched him play, I saw loads of talent, but a head so weak that he would commit suicide if given the Rex Grossman treatment. That is definetly one thing I can say positively about Rex, and while I think he has a shot to still be good (doubtful on the Bears though because Ron Turner is the worst O-Coordinator in football, unless John Shoop or Terry Shea are running offenses (correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Shea go to the Rams as a QB coach?)), regardless he has taken more than a bonfire and still has yet to explode...Henne won't be good in the NFL if he goes anywhere with high expectations out of their QB, as he seems to tend to play afraid too often and would crumble under the slightest sound of boo...if he proves me wrong then props to him, he'll have a good career with his talent, but I will be upset if the Bears draft him before the 3rd round (and guys like Ryan, Brohm, Flacco, and Woodson are gone)
