Skinny Posts: Russell, Croyle, Matt Walsh

Some odds and ends from around the league ...

  • Is JaMarcus Russell really 300 pounds? No one seems to know for sure.

  • The Matt Walsh smear campaign has begun in earnest. And the Patriots had a lot of wacky material to work with. He got kicked off his college golf team for booby-trapping his bed to catch a frisky roomate and girlfriend with blender blade knives. Huh?

Unless Walsh has a Super Bowl walkthrough tape, his credibility and lack of truly new revelations is going to make Spygate II go away faster than people think.

  • Fascinating article this weekend about Brodie Croyle in the Kansas City paper. Herm Edwards' honest is appreciated and Croyle is definitely taking last year hard. "There have been a lot of quarterbacks in this league that have been put in that spot, being young, and they never recover from it.”

Croyle is a hard worker, but I just don't see him being the answer. I watched another tape on him after reading this article and its hard to conclude anything but he was one of the worst starters in the NFL last year. Kansas City will have to think hard about Matt Ryan if he falls to five.

  • Jesse Chatman is a potential vulture for Thomas Jones.

  • Mushin Muhammad's release may have had as much to do with his attitude as his play.

  • The longer this Larry Fitzgerald things goes, the more it seems like he wants to play elsewhere.

Wow, that boston.com article on Walsh really was a smear job. Watch out for words like "vindictive" "gofer" "minimum wage" to describe Walsh and his jobs.

Can a guy really be a vulture when there's nothing to vulture away in the first place? (see tot # of NYJ rushing tds in 07)

In this time of uncertainty, there is hope for those who still have jobs and those who have lost them. I am referring to Day Trading software capable of generating huge profits.

For those who have the savvy to utilize this as an alternative to working for a living, will find Day Trading very lucrative. If you are interested in researching Day Trading I will post this link for you.
