McFadden doesn't disappoint

Chris Johnson ran the fastest time in ten years
Darren McFadden was expected to put up a blazing forty time, and he didn't disappoint with an official 4.33. That was good for second among running backs - who ran much faster as a group than the '06 class.
Here are the top ten times, courtesy of Reiss' Pieces.
Chris Johnson, East Carolina -- 4.24
Darren McFadden, Arkansas -- 4.33
Anthony Aldridge, Houston -- 4.36
Jamaal Charles, Texas -- 4.38
Chad Simpson, Morgan St. -- 4.42
Rashard Mendenhall, Illinois -- 4.45
Matthew Forte, Tulane -- 4.46
Felix Jones, Arkansas -- 4.47
Jalen Parmele, Toldeo -- 4.47
Jonathan Stewart, Oregon -- 4.48.
Analysis: All the big names held serve, with the possible exception of Felix Jones. 4.47 is nothing to be disappointed about, but some people seemed to think he could compete with McFadden.
Chris Johnson is a third-down back type, but this could put him in the lead position to be the fifth running back taken.
I am really impressed with Mendenhall, Forte, and Stewart. Big backs who run sub 4.5 make themselves money. There were questions about Forte's speed, so this should help him go in the second round.

No way Miami takes a RB with the top pick. RB's are too easy to replace. Left tackles and QB's are not.
That said... I wonder if Mayock is still down on McFadden after today? His recent comment that he wouldn't make his top 20 sounds like paralysis by analysis to me.
