Tomlinson's odd injury
LaDainian Tomlinson said an MRI revealed only a hyperextended knee, and that the injury wasn't serious.
Even odder, LT2 said that he would have returned to the game if the Chargers had trailed by more:
“I think if we would have got down seven to 10 points and it was getting crunch time in the fourth quarter, and you really needed to put a drive together, I think at that point I would have said, 'You know what? Let me just try it," Tomlinson said.
It was the biggest game of his career, they were trailing in the fourth quarter with Billy Volek at quarterback, and that wasn't enough to return?
You never want to question a player's ability to fight through injuries because only he knows his body. But it seems odd that Tomlinson could have returned on Sunday, but didn't. Frankly, it seems more likely that Tomlinson's injury is worse than he or the team is letting on.

if the injury is indeed a hyper-extended knee then it is not that bad. i have had one - and i was hurting bad for about 2 days - then was fine. LT should be close to 100% by Sunday i would think. But maybe expect to see a little more Michael Turner than usual which is not necessarily a bad thing.
