Black Monday has begun
The end of the regular season means a lot of change is coming. Change in personnel, change in coaching staffs, heck, even change in my work schedule (I was splitting our morning news with Evan Silva for the first time in a while). Hopefully that will mean more regular blogging.
I was about to write that this Black Monday, the day many NFL coaches are fired, may be quieter than most because of the holiday schedule. Then news about Brian Billick's firing came in. Happy New Year!
The news should be a relief for keeper fantasy owners of Mark Clayton, Willis McGahee, and um, Kyle Boller. The Baltimore offense hasn't worked during Billick's entire reign, and it was time for a change.
With Cam Cameron apparently having a stay of execution for a few days, there may not be another firing today. San Francisco's Mike Nolan looks like the only other possibility. Scott Linehan is a darkhorse. I'll be back with some links in a bit, and plan to post a final holiday edition of the Fantasy MVPs and Busts tomorrow morning.

i wound up 1203rd in the 100KFC. i didn't expect to win, but i was at least hoping for the top 1k.
i did win all 3 of my leagues this year, though, which netted me a decent sum. thank you clinton portis and braylon edwards.
and Gregg, to bring up our past debates....
yeah, i was clearly wrong about Moss and the Pats. Moss isn't washed up, and the Pats are godlike. excuse me for a moment while i vomit.

but what about Hester? i seem to remember you telling me he wouldn't even get 4 return TDs this year. and i said he would get at least 6 total TDs, which for a flier pick, is great.

anyways great work and thanks for all the help on my most successful FF season yet. looking forward to slaughtering all my friends again next year.
hope you guys continue the 100KFC as well, it was a blast. gotta make sure we start another pancake blocks group next season. do you guys have any plans for a playoff fantasy game of any sort?
in closing, screw Bobby Petrino and Mike Vick, RIP Sean Taylor, and down with the Patriots.

I ended up 752. Not sure how, since I missed a lot of guys' big weeks down the stretch. Picked 11th in 12 team league with FWP, B. Jacobs and the invisible Marvin Harrison as first 3 picks, yet still managed to make the playoffs thanks in no small part to Rotoworld. Looking forward to more blogging, staying ahead of the curve and beating my friends' asses next year.

i was dead wrong about moss too. i was telling anyone who would listen that you "can't take two years off in the nfl and come back and expect to be successful."

We will do that interview actually, yes. Will be up later this week. We also will do the 100K challenge again.
As for Hester, I wrote about him as a receiver if you check, and that beared out. My leagues dont award return tds, but that would sure change things. He's made me a believer.
