No Respect for Daunte

There's something sad about former Vikings teammates openly doubting Daunte Culpepper in the press. It's like they are so confident he can't play, they may as well provide bulletin board material.
We heard similar stories when he was readying to play Miami earlier this year. Maybe they just respect the old Culpepper and miss him. We all do at this point. It looks like Culpepper is going to start this week in Minnesota. Maybe Daunte will get motivated enough to uncork five scores like that Dolphins game.
This Message was once again brought to you by the now delusional partnership for a better Ronald Curry

Every year I get excited about at least one Raider (Moss, Jordan, Curry, etc.). I then draft that person and, for a little while, he does well. But, every year, my heart invariably breaks when my guy crashes down to earth. When will I remember that "Raider" is Old English for "awful"?
Next year, I think I'll bring a device to the draft that gives me an electric shock if my hand gets too near the page of stickers with Raiders on it.

Believe it or not, I think there is hope in the land of Black Holes.
It's only a matter of time before they stick the kid in there (JaMarcus) then you have Michael Bush either coming off PUP or starting the new season fresh and rehabbed. Curry could grow into a solid #1 with Porter as the wily old possession receiver. The O-line has improved greatly and will continue to do so.
So if they can resign Asoumgaho (sp) and add a DT or two, Laney Kiffin has the tools to turn around this ballclub.

Hey Vikings, before criticizing other teams' QB's... did you happen to notice who lines up behind center for your team?
