Fun while it lasted

It's never boring with Ricky, is it? Just six carries into his latest comeback, Ricky is out for the season with a torn chest muscle. The injury reportedly occured when Steelers LB Lawrence TImmons stepped on Williams' shoulder blade.
The Dolphins will have to decide during the offseason whether they want to go another round with Ricky. He's under contract for cheap, but I don't think he has any trade value at his age. My guess is that they'll keep him. If he's survived this long, they may as well let him back up another healing running back - Ronnie Brown.
This news forces me to change my mind on Patrick Cobbs. He's worth a pickup in fantasy leagues as a RB5/6 just to find out how quickly Jesse Chatman can recover.
Somewhere right now, Cam Cameron is starting ahead blankly and thinking how he could be coaching LaDainian Tomlinson right now if his timing was better.

Saying Timmons "stepped on Ricky" is putting it mildly. Whether it was intentional or not Timmons stomped on Ricky's chest going after the fumble.

What? Do you actually think Timmons said to himself "Let me go get the fumble but before I do, let me make sure I step on Ricky Williams back?" That's just silly.

I say it's Karma.

Karma? For what? Because he smoked weed, he should get injured?
Its really funny that some people act like Ricky Williams is just like PacMan Jones, Chris Henry, or anyone else that always gets in trouble.
Ricky Williams smoked weed. Compared to killing someone while drunk (Leonard Little), biting police officers and telling your friends to "smoke his ass" when about to get in a fight (PacMan Jones), Ricky Williams should be a role model.

It's a shame that Ricky got hurt like that. The Steelers are dirty, and yes I do think they would go out of there way to hurt someone while going for the football.

"The steelers are dirty", nice blanket statement... Those are so often right.... Timmons was just trying with everything he had to get the fumble, right now Timmons is a disappointing player that hasn't lived up to his draft status, and was trying everything he could do to make a play.

If by dirty, you mean a hard hitting, physical team, then yes, I suppose the Steelers are dirty. However, I haven't noticed a significant amount of personal foul penalties or conduct fines against the Pittsburgh Steeler players during the season. If you're going to say something like that, at least make sure that you have something to back up your comments.
