A Moment from Someone Else's Sponsor
We can all agree that Eli Manning's advertisement for Citizen Eco-Drive Watches is one of the most improbably bad ideas in recent endorsement history.
Some qualities I'd like in a watch: Accuracy, consistency, coolness.
Some Eli Manning qualities: Sleepiness, um ...
Getting Eli Manning to pitch a high-class product is just admitting that you were too cheap to get Peyton. It got me thinking. What would be some other disastrous NFL endorsements?
I'll get the ball rolling with Troy Williamson for Bausch & Lomb.
Back with something more relevant in a bit, chat coming at 2.

Great post Gregg...I actually laughed out loud when I saw that commercial during games last weekend.
I then realized he was my starting QB in one of my leagues. My laughter then ended.

Sorry for my brother's performance last night on the broadcast.
Anyone ever thought of hiring Pat Summerall for the job? My brother is HORRIBLE.
