This morning in Travis Henry
Since the story broke late last night, there isn't much going on concerning Travis Henry in the morning papers.
The Denver Post raises the possibility that Travis Henry could play while his legal situation works itself out. But will the Broncos be willing to suffer the distraction and P.R. embarrassment of sending him out there this weekend? I've canvassed some opinion, and people are split on the issue. Mike Shanahan isn't one to be ashamed of his players getting in trouble, and this is a crucial game, so anything is possible. My gut tells me Henry won't play, but we should know more by this afternoon. The team could blame benching him on his knee and ankle injuries.

When is the last time a team was embarrassed about the behavoir of one of its players to the point of voluntarily benching him?
If Michael Pittman get arrested every 12 months for beating his wife, Travis Henry can get busted for pot and still go out there on Sundays.

They are down on Bell from everything I hear. I think moving him back to tailback makes sense, but he was a backup fullback for a reason. Maybe he'll compete for the backup job.
And I don't think Young will disappoint from everything I know and have seen.

Mike Bell can go to because I just picked up Young yesterday and someone else in my league has Bell.

Is Cecil Sapp a viable pick up? Could Young be the next Quentin Griffin?

If Henry is healthy enough they will play him. Losing Sunday's game is going to be a much worse PR issue than using a potentially suspended player.
I think Bell might go back to back up tailback but isn't any risk to take the starting job from Young. Bell has missed a game or so this year already and nobody misses him. They might mix in Sapp more but he's likely to stay the fullback. They like him there and have no other fullback to turn to. I think your deep sleeper would be Andre Hall. The Broncos like his running style and he had a good preseason.

I think Bell might be moved back to RB only as a precaution.

Shanni is a fool if he does not start Young....i watched him play, he is explosive, finishes his runs and seems to always fall forward running over defenders.
He has 9.2 yards per carry so far this year, I think it's pretty clear cut Selvin would get the nod, Shanni calls him a "definite starter in the NFL"
