Somewhat Early Bust Watch

We skipped the bust watch last week, so there have been many changes. Congratulations to Drew Brees and Reggie Brown for getting off the list because of their performance and to Matt Jones because I’ve forgotten about him.
1. Marc Bulger: 3 touchdowns, 8 picks, 2 missed games
2. Rudi Johnson: May not get starting job back
3. Vince Young: Hasn’t topped two fantasy points since Week 3.
4. Marvin Harrison: 247 yards, 1 TD, two missed games
5. Laurence Maroney: 398 total yards, 0 touchdowns
6. Santana Moss: 248 yards, WR65
7. Lee Evans: Drafted as a top-15 WR; not in top-45 thus far
8. Brandon Jackson: 178 total yards, no hope of rebound
9. Tatum Bell: 245 total yards, one touchdown, now inactive on Sundays
10. Larry Johnson & Frank Gore: Drafted in top-five overall, performing outside top-15 RBs.
Usual Disclaimer: Bust watch is based on a highly subjective combination of expectations, performance, pain inflicted to owners (especially me), and what I ate for breakfast.

What? I may not get my starting job back?

I don't think you can call Tatum a bust as very few people expected much from him.
What about Deuce? Are we letting injured guys off the hook? If not, Javon Walker has to be up there, along with Andre Johnson.
No Ced-Ben, either?

Injuries are part of the game and cannot be controlled (unless of course it is someone like DeShawn Wynn who breaks a nail and can't get out of bed in the morning). But I do understand frustration with them.
No way Andre Johnson is a bust considering his first 2 weeks. He was still a top 10 ranked WR circa week 5 despite being out all that time.
I know he's been out a while, but I'll take him going into the playoffs.

Agreed. Ced-Ben needs to be on that list somewhere.
Also, his old running mate T. Jones has underachieved so far. No td's so far is pretty sad.

Benson and Jones were very close. They'll be there soon enough I suspect. I am letting guys that are out for the year like Deuce off the hook at some point because it's boring to see them each week. Its just for entertainment. As for Tatum, he was drafted higher than Kevin Jones - 5th or 6th round in a lot of leagues.

Phoney Maroney should be at the top. God, I mean the team is 8-0 with like 236 freakin' touchdowns and he can't even spell the word. When I read your pre-draft information I failed to see where Heath Evans and Mike Vrabel would enter the game at the 8. Thanks for the 3-5 memories!
thanks,
B

it's hard to see this list without Big Baby Benson on it.... it's missing $issy $haun too...
agree with Phoney ... Phoney Maroney should be #1 or #2 based on pre-draft hype.
