Notable Quotes
From Audibles at the line, Mike Tanier says, "I like Herm Edwards too, despite teasing him in Rundown all the time. He’s just not a great “Xs and Os” guy. He’s a lot like Marty Schottenheimer, but with Larry David writing his press conferences."
From Mike Silver's Monday column, one Rams player has a surprising comment: "I'm worried ... Looking at our schedule, and I'm scared we might go 0-16."
From the same column, Matt Leinart on the quarterback rotation in Arizona:
I just want them to ride or die with me. If I'm the franchise quarterback, play me and let me stumble, because I'll fight through it, and that will help me and our team in the long run. I know coaches want to win now, and I guess they have their reasons. But I don't understand it, and this switching back and forth is almost worse than getting benched.
The Cardinals like that Leinart was upset with his benching Sunday, but it's shaky ground to be complaining about playing time on the night of one of the biggest wins in recent franchise history. Of course he feels that way, but what good could it possibly do to go to the media that night with his gripes.

Comments
i certainly don't agree with talking about team and clubhouse problems to the media...
but can you argue with him? either play with him or without him. this rotating quarterback crap seems like a bad division 2 college scheme.
